Shortest ski transfers in the Alps

bt1 bt3

When considering a short luxury ski break or a luxury ski holiday with children, a short transfer time from the airport can really make all the difference to your enjoyment of the trip and to maximizing your time on the piste.

Geneva airport is really the best airport to gain quick access to a number of resorts in France and Switzerland, boasting large ski areas offering a variety of skiing for people of all abilities.

Whilst it can’t be denied that there are some fantastic resorts to be found elsewhere, transfer times to resorts from other airports usually around the 2.5/3 hour mark or more, rather than the 1-2 hour transfer times which can be found in resorts close to Geneva.

Firefly Collection offers a range of luxury ski chalets in these destinations, here are some of our recommendations for those seeking to get to the slopes quickly:

Sitting on a south facing plateau with views of the valley below, Verbier has a huge variety of runs to appeal to all levels and it packs in some of the best off-piste in Europe. The village has a cool apres-ski vibe and we love the late afternoon sun.
