We are delighted to announce that a number of our Firefly Collection luxury chalets have been voted the “World’s Best” in the 2015 World Ski Awards.

The winner of the most coveted title of World’s Best Ski Chalet was Chalet Bighorn, and it is clear why. Set over 3 floors, this exclusive heli-retreat has it all. From the moment you step inside you will never have to lift a finger. The attentive staff are there to make your trip run as smoothly as possible and the chalets facilities means there is no way you could tire of something to do. Not only have you got endless ski routes, glaciers and glorious powder all on your doorstep, but the chalet has everything from a private cinema to an outdoor hot tub.

Chalet Sirocco won the award of Best New Ski Chalet. This chalet was completed in the autumn of 2014 and is found in the Sonalon area of Verbier, high on the mountainside. The property is definitely one of the most stylish in the resort with its perfectly designed interiors and breath-taking alpine views. The generous living spaces make it the ideal property for a group holiday and that’s without even mentioning the entertainment zone and fabulous spa all within the chalet for your enjoyment.

If you’re thinking of heading to Austria, the chalet to stay in is Chalet Uberhaus, in Lech, winning the title of Austria’s Best Ski Chalet. This beautiful chalet is found in one of the most exclusive resorts in the world as well as sitting piste side, just above the Schlosskopf lift, giving you ski-in/ski-out access. And with facilities ranging from a wine cave to a cinema room to an outdoor infinity hot tub, it’s hard to find a chalet that can compare.

The next award-winning chalet is so glamorous that it could keep you off the slopes. Chalet Grande Corniche in Les Gets has been voted France’s Best Ski Chalet for 2015. Understandably, the biggest appeal of this chalet is the jaw-dropping architecture. It has a state of the art glass sauna, so whilst you are relaxing in there you can enjoy views of down the valley. Alternatively head outdoors to the hot tub, maybe with a glass of Champagne and gaze at beautiful alpine skies.  And be sure of hop into the indoor slide which can whiz you down from the bar area up top to the wine cave on the lower floor, the best way to get a refill.

We’ve always loved the unique combination of traditional charm and luxury at San Lorenzo Lodge, a historic hunting lodge-turned-luxury-retreat, and it seems other do too, having won Italy’s Best Ski Chalet. San Lorenzo Mountain Lodge is so much more than just a ski chalet. It offers a truly unique experience in both summer and winter. With its own private helipad, an outdoor panoramic whirlpool, a Turkish bath and a wine cellar with over 1,500 bottles of the best Alto Adige wines, we can understand if you never want to leave, especially once you’ve sunken into your plush beds with goose-down duvets and cashmere throws.

And last but no means least, Chalet Zermatt Peak has been voted Switzerland’s Best Ski Chalet again and it is clear why it has reclaimed this title. As you enter this incredible chalet via the lift and tunnel, you will feel as if you are in your own James Bond movie. This truly is a chalet designed to impress, which is exactly what the astounding wellness area on the ground floor does. This spa area has glass walls, giving you amazing views of the mountains whilst in the indoor-outdoor Jacuzzi. Or maybe you will book yourself a treatment as the new Chanel therapy room for a bit of pampering before enjoying the suburb culinary delights that your private chef prepares each evening.
