New England casual meets the outdoor island life at Villa Periousia. This luxury villa in Corfu with private swimming pool is set in an exclusive estate with just one other villa and the two can be taken together to accommodate a party of up to 16.

Inside, a cool, coastal look with rustic fireplace in the living room makes for an ultra-relaxing spot to curl up on the sofas with friends and family. The sofas look straight into the cosy fire, but glance back and you have a superb sea view. Each of the en-suite bedrooms is designed to be cool, calming and induce sleep. All have terrace access so first thing in the morning you can throw open your doors to the sound of the sea and then retreat back to bed with your morning coffee.

The villa has stunning outdoor spaces. As well as the infinity pool that stretches out into the distance, shared tennis court and access to a secluded beach, there is a network of outdoor terraces set up for everything from gourmet dining to just sitting by candlelight watching boats bobbing on the sea. With snorkelling equipment provided, you can spend your days exploring the underwater world. The garden and pool are both magically lit by night, meaning a dip under the stars is an absolute must.

Experienced and helpful staff will ensure that you want for nothing while you stay here. From arranging tennis lessons, boat trips to your perfect breakfast, everything is taken care of so all you have to do is sit back and enjoy the view.

Location

Villa Periousia is one of just two villas on the exclusive Periousia Amala estate in Kassiopi on the north east coast of Corfu. It has direct access to Avlaki Beach and is walking distance from two beachside tavernas. Corfu town is 55 minutes away by car.

The property is approximately 1 hour from Corfu Airport.

Rooms

Villa Periousia sleeps seven to eight people across three bedrooms and a snug.

Bedroom one
Double room with king-size bed with en-suite bathroom.

Twin/double room with en-suite bathroom.

Bedroom three
Double room with double bed with en-suite bathroom.

Snug
The snug has a double sofa bed which would comfortably sleep two children or teens or one adult with a shower and toilet.

Please note the villa can be taken along with Villa Amala next door to create an estate that sleeps up to 16.

Eating

The villa is sold on a self-catered basis although a private chef can be hired for as many or as few meals as you require. A breakfast service is offered 6 mornings per week provided by the housekeeper and the food and drink is charged separately.

There is also the option of cooking al fresco for yourself, as the villa has fabulous outdoor eating areas and a BBQ where you can enjoy long, leisurely meals with sea views.

Alternatively you may like to take the opportunity to try out either or both of the two lovely tavernas just a short stroll away on Avlaki beach.

Kids

There’s so much here to keep children entertained. The outdoor swimming pool will be popular on hot days and the grounds have private access to the beach. There’s a jetty shared with the next door villa from which you can take boating adventures, and tennis courts supplied with rackets and balls.

Should you have a less-than-clement day, the TV room will keep kids entertained. The villa has a TV, DVD and Blu-ray player as well as stacks of books, games and toys to amuse children of all ages.

If you wish, you can book a range of workshops and activities for the children from arts and crafts to walks on the beach. Trips out to riding centre for horse and pony rides can also be arranged.

For adults who would like an evening out, nannies and babysitters can be arranged on request.
