Small, but perfectly formed, this luxury ski apartment in Lech is an ideal find for guests looking for a self-catered apartment that is as convenient as it is beautifully designed. The Balegia Penthouse is perched on top of a beautiful, traditional-style chalet just a minute’s stroll from the Schlosskopf lift, so you can be first on the snow each morning.

The interior is thoughtfully designed to be a real home-from-home, but with a few surprises, too. Each of the super-comfy bedrooms is a welcoming spot to retreat to at the end of the day, with private shower rooms that will make your morning ablutions a pleasure. The main living area is a great place to party or just relax with loved ones in the evenings. A squashy L-shaped sofa maximises lounging opportunities, providing the perfect place to gather, bubbly in hand, in the early evenings and catch up on all the events of the day.

A large dining table makes for long, convivial dinners, after which we recommend you take your after-dinner drinks out onto the terrace and watch the sun set behind the mountain.

With a wonderful sauna and plenty more spaces to cosy up with a book and a glass of wine, we think you’ll return from a week at the penthouse feeling thoroughly refreshed.
