The stylish interiors have been designed with every care and thought, using rich woods, stone and textured materials alongside high-tech equipment to make every moment you spend here special. The modern-rustic living space with snuggly throws and statement fireplace is a wonderful spot to catch up with friends and loved ones over a glass of bubbly in the evenings when your skiing day is done. Nearby is a cosy dining space where your talented chef will serve up gourmet treats for everyone.

The south-facing terrace with its own hot tub is a lovely sunny spot in which to enjoy your morning coffee and by evening a great space to enjoy a nightcap in the warmth of the hot tub.

The chalet has a brilliant location, just moments from the chair lift and you can ski back to the door when conditions allow. But there’s plenty here for non-skiers too, from the games room with pool table to the cinema room, where you can catch a film on cold afternoons.

Each of the en-suite bedrooms has been individually designed to offer as much in style as in comfort, so everyone has their own cocoon-like space to retreat to at the end of each busy day. If the slopes weren’t calling you, you’d never want to leave your comfy bed each morning.

Location

Chalet Le Koissou is well located near the centre of Meribel Village, approx 180m from the Golf chairlift and Lapin piste. In the right conditions, you can ski right back to the terrace from the Lapin run and the chalet has wonderful views up to the Roc de Fer.

The nearest airports are Chambery (1h 15m) and Lyon (1h 55m) whilst Grenoble and Geneva are both approximately 2 hours drive away.

Eating

Food is one of the highlights of a stay at Chalet Le Koissou.

Before your stay, your chef will be in touch with you to find out more about your preferences. Whether you want haute cuisine, lighter meals or simple comfort food on the sofa, your wish is their command.

A delicious breakfast spread is served each morning, with hot options available on five mornings. When you return from the slopes, afternoon tea is ready and waiting for you and in the evening, canapés and a leisurely four-course meal are served while you and your fellow guests relax, catch up and kick back over a few glasses of wine or beers. Of course, if you’re planning extended lunches on the slopes, smaller, more simple evening meals can be arranged. It’s all completely up to you.

High tea is served for any younger members of your party so no one has to be on their best behaviour and everyone can simply relax in the evenings.

On staff days off, your chalet host will be only too pleased to help you with bookings for any of Meribel’s fabulous restaurants.

Kids

Children of all ages will feel right at home at Chalet Le Koissou. The cosy bunk room makes a great base for four children and there’s also a TV room with a pool table to keep them entertained.

Your chef can prepare a children’s high tea in the evenings so that little ones can enjoy a meal catered to their tastes and the grown-ups can relax post-bedtime.

The chalet can provide everything you need from cots to high chairs and even ensure there’s a plentiful supply of cuddly toys.

Childcare can be arranged on request and staff can help with pointing you towards the best ski schools and slopes for your children. They’ll even pack them off to ski school in an eight-seater vehicle with tissues, lip balm and a chocolate bar to keep them going!
