Situated high up in sunny Le Cret, the chalet is filled with light during the day and has enviable south and westerly views. By night, a roaring fire and hurricane lanterns create a warm and cosy glow. The vaulted ceiling and chunky wood furniture give Chalet Pierre de Compia a rustic-cool vibe. It’s a chalet that is truly made for sharing – huge sofas, a sociable dining space and a fabulous outdoor hot tub, too!

Everything you might need is organised for you, so all you have to do is sit back and get on with the serious business of enjoying your holiday. A private chef will prepare and serve delicious meals to keep you stoked up for the slopes, so you never have to lift a finger. Any ski passes, lessons and equipment hire will all be sorted ready for your arrival at the chalet. With a hot tub out on the deck there’s no reason to do anything but relax, relax, relax… unless you want to party. That’s fine with us, too.

Location

This luxury ski chalet is situated in the pretty and sunny hamlet of Le Cret, approximately 1km away from the centre of Val d’Isere. It is equidistant from both the central lift in Val d’Isère and main lift at La Daille. Both are just a few minutes’ drive away using the chalet driver service.

Chambery airport is just under 2 hours drive and Geneva airport is approximately 3 hours drive away.

Rooms

Chalet Pierre de Compia sleeps 8 guests in four bedrooms.

Each of the four double bedrooms is located on the ground floor and has an en-suite bathroom. Three have bathtubs, and the largest room has a walk-in shower.

Three of the rooms also open out on the decked terrace with hot tub and all rooms can be configured with either king-size of twin beds.

Eating

Your private chef will be on hand first thing to fix you a slap-up breakfast before you head out onto the snow. The light-filled dining area is a great space to enjoy sociable meals but is particularly lovely in the morning when light pours into the chalet, which is located in the sunniest spot of Val d’Isère.

When you return in the early afternoon, tea and cakes will be waiting to refuel you, then later in the evening a fabulous three-course dinner is served, after which you could take your drinks and relax in front of the fire, or trot down to the hot tub for an evening soak.

Evening meals are served on five nights out of seven. On those days, your chalet host can help you choose and book a restaurant, or arrange for a cosy night in with a takeaway.

A fully catered and serviced chalet like this one is a great choice if you’re travelling with children.

The chef will be happy to cater to any particular whims or needs and will prepare an early children’s dinner so that the adults can enjoy a more relaxed meal later on, and there’s no need to worry about keeping the place tidy as your housekeeper will be in every day to Mary Poppins all the mess away.

The chalet also has a driver service too, which makes it easy to get the kids to the slopes, plus there’s always help on hand to sort out ski passes, ski hire and lessons.
