Chalet Reine des Prés is a rustic alpine chalet, near the centre of Megeve village, radiant, chic and stylish.

Spacious and open plan in design, the Reine des Prés still feels cosy and warm. Modern luxuries such as a spa room and sleek modern bathrooms bring it right up to date. This luxury ski chalet is managed by the super chic Alpaga Hotel in Megève. So it offers all the benefits of boutique hotel service whilst allowing you all the privacy and comfort of a home from home.

That means a daily housekeeping service and use of the hotel’s facilities. Just relax in your private spa with a dip in the Jacuzzi followed by a wonderful Shiatsu massage, then toast your aching feet in front of the cosy fireplace whilst a chef prepares a gourmet dinner, should you choose to hire one. After all, it’s hard work being on holiday.

Complimentary breakfast is served every day, and your private concierge service is an integral part of the Reine des Prés experience. If you need picking up from the airport in a luxury chauffeured car, or you’d like to organise boot fittings and ski passes, just ask and it shall be done.

Chalet Reine des Prés is a 5 minute shuttle to the Rochebrune slopes and the centre of Megève. Extending over three floors, the chalet has a wellness area, library and access to a private garden from the ground floor. Bedrooms are all on the first floor and the top floor is dedicated to entertaining.

This is the warm, beating heart of the chalet, where guests can dine, watch a film or throw an impromptu party. Stylish, comfortable and cosy, it’s all warm wood panelling and soft luxurious fabrics in shades of coffee and cream. French windows open onto a balcony, and there’s even a play room up in the eaves.

Location

Chalet Reine des Prés is a 5 minute drive from the Rochebrune ski slopes and a 5 minute drive into Megève village.

The nearest airports are Geneva which is 1 hour away, whilst Lyon is a 2 hour drive away. There is also an altiport in Megeve which is 15 minutes drive from this luxury ski chalet.

Rooms

Chalet Reine des Prés sleeps 8 adults and 2 children.

Four double bedrooms are located on the first floor. Each has its own bathroom and separate toilet. Two of the bathrooms have a bath, and two have a shower, and all four have their own balconies.

Additionally, a playroom with two children’s beds is on a mezzanine level above the living room.

Eating

A nutritious fresh breakfast is included, served every day by the chalet host. All other meals are up to you. Chalet Reine des Prés has a professional kitchen, so you can easily whip up a simple Bolognese and salad and the concierge can arrange a grocery delivery if you wish so you don’t even have to brave the supermarket.

Of course, if you enjoy being served delicious gourmet meals in the comfort of your chalet, a private chef service is also available at an additional cost. This can be full-time, or just for the occasional meal, as you wish. One of the Alpaga Hotel’s experiences chefs can come to your chalet and prepare a wonderful banquet of sensual flavours.
