Perched on the fourth floor with private lift access, The Penthouse offers the ultimate in style, comfort and sophistication. Only the highest standards have been used when designing the fabulous interiors, combining alpine charm with elegant Italian designer furnishings. The living space is what really makes this luxury property. A huge, open-plan seating area, with capacious sofa offers a simply stunning spot to catch up with the rest of your party after a day on the slopes.

Each of the three bedrooms is an ode to comfort, with luxury linens and anything else you could need to make your own little home from home on your luxury ski holiday. The master bedroom even has its own private Finnish sauna and steam showers in all the en-suite bathrooms.

After a hard day on the slopes, pad down to the hotel’s exclusive spa area for some serious pampering. Nine tranquil treatment rooms are complemented by two indoor swimming pools (one exclusively for adults), a Jacuzzi and hydrotherapy areas including a Turkish Hammam, Bio sauna, Finnish sauna and cold plunge pool complete the facilities. If skiing isn’t quite enough, guests are welcome to use the yoga studio and fully equipped gym should you wish to maintain your fitness regime. Other hotel facilities include a private 12-seat cinema, library and games room, providing plenty of indoor entertainment.

Location

Rosa Alpina’ The Penthouse is located in the heart of San Cassiano, a charming mountain village in Italy’s Unesco-protected Dolomites, with access to the expansive Dolomiti Superski ski area.

During the winter season, a shuttle service is available throughout the day from the hotel and the nearest Piz Sorega lift station.

The nearest airports are Bolzano Airport, approximately 1.5 hours drive away, or Innsbruck is approximately 2 hours drive away.

Bedroom 1:
Master suite with en-suite bathroom and steam shower, shared balcony and access to sauna.

Bedrooms 2 & 3:
Double/twin bedrooms each with en-suite bathrooms with steam showers.

Eating

Breakfast is included during your stay which you’re invited to enjoy in the Limonaia restaurant to get you set up for a big day ahead.

Rosa Alpina hotel boasts a selection of on-site restaurants, which you can enjoy without having to trek all over town. For lunch, and also available for evening meals, you can’t beat the family style Italian dishes at the Wine Bar & Grill with an authentic wood-fired pizza oven, offering a creative take on local cuisine inspired by the ‘Cook the Mountain’ culinary concept.

Guests can also choose to dine at two additional on-site restaurants for dinner. Fondue lovers will rejoice and can enjoy an intimate atmosphere of the Fondue Stube. As well as serving traditional meat and cheese fondues to satisfy savoury palettes, why not indulge in a chocolate fondue to round off your evening.

Alternatively, the 3 Star Michelin St. Hubertus restaurant will excite those looking for a gourmet dining experience, headed by the legendary chef Norbert Niederkofler with his ‘Cook the Mountain’ philosophy.

The Penthouse itself is well appointed with a fully-equipped kitchen and dining area should you wish to cater for yourselves in the comfort of your chalet. If, however, you prefer a more relaxed experience during your luxury ski holiday, a private chef service can be arranged on request.
