As you step through the front door of this luxury villa, a sweeping staircase frames the view of the sea at the opposite side of the house. Walk through into the communal rooms and you’ll find an open-plan space where you’ll feel right at home. The dining room, with its colourful red chairs and quirky art pieces provides a backdrop that is as much a conversation piece as a place in which to relax. Nearby, in the living area of this luxury villa, the comfy sofas offer a spot to sprawl in the cooling breeze that floats in off the sea and through the property.

Each of the bedrooms, with amazing views and spa-style bathrooms, are a mini retreat in themselves. They offer the perfect place to hide away in your room and find a little peace and quiet whenever you like.

Location

This luxury villa in Barbados is located on the beachfront and stands within 3 acres of landscaped grounds. Villa Gloria is a 10 minute drive from Holetown and Speightstown. It’s also just a short drive from the Royal Westmoreland and Sandy Lane golf courses.

The nearest airport is Grantley Adams International airport, just over 30 minutes drive away.

Rooms

Villa Gloria sleeps 12 people across six bedrooms. All bedrooms are air-conditioned.

Three bedrooms in the main house open out onto the ground floor verandah overlooking sea and pool views. The master suite encompasses the entire first floor. Two additional rooms can be found in the gate house annex.

Eating

The villa has a chef and butler to wait on you hand and foot during your stay and will be happy to prepare a variety of international cuisines for you.

Meals can be taken indoors in the dining rooms, or outside there is a lovely gazebo overlooking the pool area, which is beautifully lit at night and the perfect spot for enjoying leisurely dinners as the sun sets.

Your concierge can assist in the booking of restaurant tables. There are some wonderful eateries nearby. We particularly like Nishi with its contemporary Asian cuisine and The Tides, where you can fine dine amongst the Cycladic colours and to the backdrop of the ocean– both in nearby Holetown.

Children are welcomed at this luxury villa and if you should need nannies or babysitters, they can be arranged on request through your concierge service.

Kids will love the spacious pool in front of the villa and can channel their inner Federer on the tennis court. There’s also a TV and family room with plasma TV and a library to keep them busy.
