Description
It’s hard to imagine a property with a better view than this: little white boats bobbing on the Bay of Villefranche, lush green hills and turquoise waters below, framed by two jutting headlands at either side with the ocean opening out beyond. With an outlook like this, you could hardly notice your beautifully designed and luxurious surroundings.
But we think you’ll still take time to enjoy all this luxury villa in the Cote d’Azur has to offer.
A stay here is like having one of the best hotels in the world all to yourself. Each of the luxury bedrooms has at least one spa-style en-suite and is the last word in hotel comfort and chic design.
The light and airy living spaces are open plan and include a top-of-the-range kitchen, modern dining space and generous living area with room for everyone in your party to sprawl comfortably. Floor-to-ceiling windows disappear completely into the walls across the front of this lovely living and entertaining space, opening it out onto the stunning terrace. An outdoor living room and alfresco dining room mean you can live as much outdoors as in here, taking meals on the terrace and relaxing in comfortable armchairs with a book and a drink outside.
Step off the terrace and you’re in the villa’s lush, green landscaped gardens, where you can wander, with or without purpose, happily all afternoon, just taking in that fabulous waterside view. An infinity edged pool at the end of the garden is designed so that swimmers have the feeling of being able to paddle straight out to sea. And, of course, the garden has its own private steps down to the water’s edge so you can get up close and personal with your fabulous location.
Villa Mas de la Rube’s staff are without a doubt one of the highlights of a stay here. Always on hand, yet invisible, each and every member of staff here is as dedicated as they are discreet. Whatever your need, or simply fancy, from a drink topped up to a pillow plumped to a table booked, the villa’s staff are happy to help (if they haven’t sorted it already). The ethos here is that you should feel like you are in the best hotel in the world – and that you have it all to yourselves.
