The design draws influence from ancient Greek architecture; expect grand concrete pillars, high ceilings, marble floors and stone-walled courtyards.

Step out from the living areas onto the elegant swimming pool terraces, which comes with plenty of shaded and sun-kissed spots for lounging around the large, glittering infinity swimming pool. A pool house, kitted out with a media centre and gym, is part of each villa and excellent bonus spaces.

Bedroom suites are dotted around the courtyards, where water features and perfectly placed shrubs add to the relaxing atmosphere.

Location

The 6 Bedroom Residences are located in the super-exclusive Amanzoe resort in Porto Heli on the Peloponnese coast, with sweeping views of the Argo-Saronic Gulf and surrounding olive groves. It’s a 10-minute drive from traditional fishing villages and a short boat ride from the islands of Spetses and car-free Hydra.

Transfers from Athens airport take around 2 hours 30 minutes by car or 25 minutes by helicopter.

Be sure to sample the authentic Japanese cuisine at Amanzoe’s signature restaurant, Nama, during your stay. Then there’s the Greek-Mediterranean delights of the fine-dining restaurant where you can tuck into a degustation menu with wine pairings while gazing out at the shimmering sea. For more casual dining, you’ll find a pool restaurant for lunchtime light bites and the Beach Club restaurant for wood-fired pizzas and traditional taverna-style fare.
