The whitewashed and terracotta villa is as Andalucian as Pablo Picasso and flamenco dancing, and inside, a contemporary classic style creates a sense of calm. Grand chandeliers, roaring open fireplaces and magnificent sweeping staircase all at to the grandeur of this fine villa. Not one but two air-conditioned living rooms provide plenty of relief should you ever tire of the heat of the Spanish sun. An enviable collection of books are showcased in the spectacular library, where you will find a study should you need to attend to a quick email or pen a postcard home, and a snooker table for a jovial evening of entertainment. Fitness enthusiasts will be happy to hear there is a fully equipped outdoor gym too.

With a name meaning the ‘The Baron’s orchard’, it’s no wonder the outdoor spaces are so wondrous. 3,750 square metres of beautifully landscaped gardens are yours to relax in and take in the striking views of the Sierra Blanca mountain range. Sit beneath the fragrant fruit trees in the plush outdoor lounge, spend a merry evening dining al fresco with the breeze of the not-so-distant ocean or take a pew in the traditional Spanish courtyard. A glorious outdoor pool and soothing Jacuzzi are an oasis on a warm day, and the al fresco bar on the water’s edge means you don’t have to wander far to wet your whistle.

Ten beautifully designed en-suite bedrooms all have Sky TV and top-of-the-range sound systems. The master bedroom has its own vast, stunning terrace, ideal for a peaceful breakfast or even throwing some pre-dinner cocktails, and some of the other bedrooms have French doors opening onto furnished patios or gardens complete with sun loungers.

The villa is nestled in a peaceful spot, yet is within easy reach of the centre of town, so there’s plenty to do on your doorstep. The iconic Marbella Club and the marina of Puerto Banus are only a short 10 minute drive away. Or if you’ve come here simply for the rest and relaxation, you’ll find it in spades at the villa.

Location

Villa El Huerto del Baron is situated in the lovely Marbella Hill area. It is a 10 minute drive to the shops and marina at Puerto Banus and the iconic Marbella Club and beach.

The nearest airport is Malaga which is approximately a 45 minute drive away.

Eating

A private chef and waiting staff can be arranged at an additional cost. The finest ingredients are skilfully used to create fantastic menus and served to you in a simply stunning location, either on the outdoor terraces or in the interior dining room.

The chef can also prepare an earlier evening meal for children if you wish.
