Coastal style pervades here, as you might expect, with the sea visible from almost every window and the sound of the waves always in the background. The property has been designed to reflect its position right on the edge of the ocean, with light pouring in from huge windows, a coastal-themed white and turquoise colour scheme (even the bicycles match!) and neutral, natural materials that bring the sea’s edge indoors.

The shared spaces are stunning, with capacious sofas for lounging on in the evenings and a sophisticated but super-comfy dining room for meals with friends. Each of the five bedrooms has its own bathroom and is a cool and airy sanctuary for you to relax in during the evenings as the heat of the day dissipates.

Beautiful though the interior is, the outside living areas are what sets this villa apart. Its position right on the beach means the sea is your garden here and the ocean views allow your eyes to stretch for miles. A lush garden and beautifully manicured terrace with sea-view swimming pool, luxury loungers and a huge hammock give you plenty of sun to soak up and shade to cool off in at any time of day – your very own alfresco lounge. And there’s also a barbecue and outdoor eating space so you can enjoy all your meals in the fresh air with the smell of the sea.

While everything you could want is here – and the sea only steps from your door – those who like a bit of adventure with their holiday will enjoy setting off on the villa’s bikes to see the sights, making the most of the nearby nature reserve and exploring the local towns and villages.

Location

Hibiscus Beach House is a luxury villa in the Algarve, perched right on the beautiful Gale Beach and moments away from a nature reserve.

As well as being only steps from the beach, the property is also less than 4km from both Salgados and Evaristo beaches. There’s plenty of culture, shopping and adventures to be had at Albufeira and Guia which are also both within easy reach.

Eating

The in-resort team can take care of as much or as little of the catering as you require. To make life a little easier for you, there’s a welcome hamper waiting for you when you arrive, to set you up with a few essentials – and a few frivolities, too – including wines, beers, soft drinks, local olive oil, seasonal fruit, coffee, tea and sugar. If you like, the staff can arrange for the villa to be pre-stocked with food prior to your arrival so you’ll walk in the door to a full fridge and pantry.

A continental breakfast is served each morning. Relax and enjoy breads, pastries, fruit platters and more in your bath robe, accompanied by the sound of the sea.

Self-catering is a pleasure here, in the spacious open-plan kitchen, kitted out with state-of-the-art Gaggenau appliances, as well as indoor and outdoor dining areas, and beach house essentials such as an ice-maker and charcoal barbecue.

And of course there are plenty of wonderful restaurants and eateries to enjoy. You won’t want to leave without a trip to Guia to try its famous Piri Piri chicken. And there are lots of restaurants to try in nearby Albufeira too.

For those who prefer to eat in the privacy of their villa but would still like a catered service, a full chef and butler service can be arranged at an additional cost.

Kids

This luxury family-friendly villa in the Algarve is an ideal location for those travelling with children. One of the bedrooms is a smaller room, designed with twin beds to be perfect for children to share, and there’s lots of space to play in the open-plan property.

Kids of all ages will be wowed by the beautiful private swimming pool, which is close to the house and surrounded by loungers and chairs, so it’s easy to keep an eye on little ones from wherever you are relaxing yourself. And it goes without saying that the beachfront location, with the sea just steps away, will be a winner for any young people in your party.

The property comes with bicycles and older children will have enormous fun riding them around the area and down to the nature reserve. The villa staff can also organise other days out and activities to keep all ages entertained.
