Villa Cala Bianca’s setting is simply sublime. Perched on the edge of a limestone rock and set over four levels, this luxury hideaway cascades down the cliffside and has astounding sea views from all angles. There’s even direct access to the waters via a secret path down to your own private harbour.

This luxury villa has one of the most picturesque private pools you’ll ever see, carved out of the limestone cliff and perched above the shimmering sea. Take a dip and you could end up gazing out to mesmerising Cap Canaille for hours. There’s also a second heated outdoor pool, ideal for swimming a few laps. Taking inspiration from classic cliffside Mediterranean gardens, the outdoor space offers plenty of lounging nooks at every level.

Cala Bianca has a soothing minimalist décor. Each bedroom has been designed as a suite; the two second-floor bedrooms open onto a private terrace, while the third and fourth bedrooms occupy their own floors for a real penthouse feel. Fling open the doors and you can drift off to the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks far below. Shared indoor spaces include a spa room and a spacious living area. A private butler is on hand to assist with anything you need during your stay, whether that’s a personal chef, private transfers or massage therapists.

If you thought things couldn’t get any better: Cala Bianca is the only private villa within boutique Hotel Les Roches Blanches – a former mansion with an Art Deco style – and villa guests have access to hotel facilities including four restaurants and a Sisley spa.

Location

Villa Cala Bianca is secluded within the grounds of Hotel Les Roches Blanches, just a few minutes’ walk from the charming and authentic fishing port of Cassis.

There’s plenty of spectacular scenery on your doorstep. Days can be spent leisurely exploring local vineyards, pausing to sample the local vintages, or paddleboarding along the coastline to hidden sea caves.

Marseille and its airport is approximately 30 minutes drive away, with return airport transfers included for your stay.

Eating

An à la carte breakfast will be freshly prepared for you each day, served in the comfort of your villa or out on one of the terraces where you can breathe in the sea air as you tuck into your morning feast. Your private butler can also arrange a personal chef and sommelier to cater for all or part of your stay.

Hotel Les Roches Blanches has four top restaurants where villa guests have priority dining. Highlights include a raw food bar specialising in ceviche and carpaccio and a Mediterranean restaurant featuring the likes of fritto misto and côte de boeuf.

Kids

Due to its setting, this villa is best suited for adult groups, but children aged 15 years and above will be considered.

Older children will love splashing and swimming in the villa’s two rock-side heated outdoor pools. There’s also direct access to the sea from the property via a rock-cut path (adult supervision is strongly advised).

Privately chartered boat trips – departing from the villa’s own harbour – are ideal for family fun should you wish to spend the day out on the water.
