Description

Perched up in the hills, this imposingly beautiful white building, fringed with palms, appears almost to shine against the deep blue sky. Villa Calandria is a luxury villa in Ibiza with a very special location – while it’s nestled up on hills above the San Jose Road and has wonderfully restful sea views, it’s an easy walk to Ibiza town, or a short drive, if you want to throw yourself into the action.

As you pass through the courtyard entrance, you can see right through to the other side of the villa, to the swimming pool and beyond to the sea. The open-plan style and white decor gives the property a really cool and airy feel, which perfectly sets off the stylish interiors.

The fabulous living room means everyone can find a space of their own, and includes a cosy fireplace area with plasma TV and seating gathered around, a grand piano and a large, comfy sofa arrangement set in front of the glass doors that open onto the pool area. Nearby, a large white dining table with ghost-style chairs in the window means that even on days when you can’t eat alfresco, you can still feel as though you’re outside.

In the living areas, and throughout the villa, modern art pieces add colour and character to the white and grey contemporary schemes. Each of the bedrooms is restfully designed with white linens and stone en-suites. The master bedroom has its own sunken bath tub for a relaxing soak before bedtime, while elsewhere, a study/yoga room offers the perfect spot to find a little calm.

The outdoor spaces here are really special and make the most of the private gardens. Huge chill-out zones offer somewhere for a siesta in the shade or a place to gather with friends for early evening drinks. Sun-worshippers will love basking on the loungers at the side of the pool, from where you have wonderful views out to sea. The alfresco dining area is covered to offer shade and a little shelter in the event of a light shower and there’s even a bar area with ping-pong table – your very own outdoor nightspot! A top-of-the-range sound system completes the effect. And if that has whetted your appetite for a little music and moonlit dancing, Ibiza Town itself is just a short drive away.

Villa Calandria has a fabulous location, enjoying both privacy and proximity to the action. This luxury villa is perched up in the hills above the San Jose Road with views out to sea, but it only takes 10 minutes to drive to Ibiza Town.

The property is 6.5km from the nearest beach. The drive to the airport takes around 10 minutes.

Eating

Villa Calandria is offered on a self-catered basis, however if you would prefer not to lift a finger on your luxury villa holiday a private chef can be hired to rustle up delicious gourmet meals for your party. Or, should you wish to cater yourself a food and drinks delivery can be delivered before your arrival so that all you have to do is relax. (Available up to 7 days before arrival).

Venturing out, Ibiza offers an exceptionally good selection of restaurants and beach clubs for villa guests to dine out, whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner.

There’s so much to keep children entertained here, including a large outdoor swimming pool, private gardens, ping pong table and TV.

The villa is well equipped for families. Two of the bedrooms have an interconnecting bathroom, creating a family suite. Cot, highchair and other equipment can be supplied for very young guests.

For older teens and grown-up kids, the property is well located, being just a short drive from Ibiza Town for evenings out.
