Villa Jasmine has an interior style all of its own, and stepping inside you would be forgiven for thinking you’re in Asia rather than the heart of the Caribbean. The palette is as colourful as the island of St Barths itself. Rich reds, purples and metallics combine beautifully with the dark woods of the polished floors and high ceilings.

The property is stretched out across a vast footprint, ensuring all members of the party have enough space to call their own as well as sociable areas to gather together. In the contemporary living space slate grey sofas, illuminated by low-lit statement lighting, are grouped around a long, low coffee table. Beside the well-equipped kitchen area is a bar with seating for eight, where you can enjoy drinks or hire a chef to create tantalising treats to accompany your sundowners.

Across the entire front of the villa runs a stunning terrace, incorporating lounge areas, beautifully lit dining spot and a fabulous private infinity pool. From the pool itself the water appears to fall straight into the ocean.

And there is so much here to keep every member of your party occupied. Whether you prefer to float in the pool, grill a fresh fish feast on the BBQ, look after body and soul in the Jacuzzi and fitness suite or retreat to the TV room or wine cellar of an evening, Villa Jasmine has it.

The luxury bedrooms of Villa Jasmine each offer their own unique retreat from the world, with four bedrooms in independent cottages for the height of privacy, and two together perfect for younger travellers.

If you find you require any more amenities than those right on your doorstep, guests of the villa are also invited to dine at the Eden Rock Hotel nearby, and enjoy its amenities including its gym and private beach.

Location

This luxury villa in St Barths is located in the north-east of the island, close to Marigot Bay.

Several major airlines have regular international flights to the neighbouring island of St Martin and local companies have connecting flights to St Barth’s Gustave III Airport, which is just a short drive from the villa. There are also charter speedboats and daily ferries from St Martin to St Barth’s.

Four of the bedrooms are in independent cottages, making this a great property for several families to share.

There are also a further two kids’ bedrooms and a staff bedroom as well.

Eating

Continental breakfast is served each morning. Guests of Villa Jasmine are welcome to dine at Eden Rock Hotel, which includes the Sand Bar, a relaxed but cosmopolitan eatery where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner right on the beach with a panoramic ocean view and your feet in the sand. Alternatively, if you’re looking for a more fine-dining experience, you may prefer to visit On The Rocks, which specialises in seafood with a tropical twist and stunning views out over St Jean Bay. Both are presided over by the renowned master chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten and will be a treat for any gourmand.

The hotel can also assist with the booking of a chef if you prefer to eat in the privacy of your villa. Food will be charged for separately at the end of your stay. The chef can arrange anything from customised picnics out on the boat to catering for a special event such as a birthday.

Kids

Children are made very welcome at Villa Jasmine. There are two dedicated children’s bedrooms where they can make themselves right at home. Kids of all ages will love the private pool at the villa, and there’s even a cinema room where they can snuggle up in the early evening for a film while the grown-ups have sundowners.

They’ll also enjoy having access to the idyllic private beach of the Eden Rock Hotel, with lots of opportunities for water sports for older kids, too.
