Imagine a charming and authentic Provençal-style villa with contemporary features, surrounded by two-and-a-half peaceful acres of nature just for you and your fellow guests. That’s exactly what you can look forward to during a stay at beautiful Villa Jasso, where it’s easy to relax inside the vast wine estate of the five-star Chateau de Berne hotel.
The inside of this luxury villa in Provence is decorated in natural shades that chime perfectly with its elegant surrounds. In the large living area, exposed beams add just the right amount of character and warmth, while the airy kitchen, complete with island breakfast bar, will no doubt inspire plans for your own home. There’s nothing like flinging the doors open to be greeted by bright blue skies and a warm breeze and the three tasteful en-suite bedrooms, each with direct access to the terrace, make that an effortless joy here. A separate guest house, close to the pool house, can sleep an additional four people.
While the interiors of this family home are delightful, it would be a shame not to spend as much time as possible outside. Food tastes better outdoors on holiday and you’re spoilt for choice when it comes to quality produce in Provence, making those barbecues and al fresco family feasts even more delicious.
Play games in the huge gardens, practise your petanque skills and take time to wander among the olive trees to clear your mind. On a hot day there’s nowhere better to spend a few hours with a good book than by the swimming pool – it’s a particularly private spot, secluded by trees.
In the wider estate, pamper yourself with Cinq Mondes spa treatments, play a couple of matches of tennis on the two tennis courts, maintain your fitness levels in the gym area or enjoy a yoga class, book a wine tasting tour and eat your way through the hotel’s Michelin-starred restaurant menu.
Villa Jasso is an exclusive villa located in the luxurious Chateau de Berne hotel’s 1500-acre estate and vineyard. The estate sits, surrounded by forests and olive groves in Provence’s hinterland, between Lorgues and Flayosc, and about an hour from St Tropez’s coast. Villa Jasso enjoys 1 hectare of its own private space within the greater estate’s grounds.
Your closest airport is St Tropez, around an hour away. Toulon, Nice and Marseille can all be reached in under 1 hour 30 minutes. It’s easy to travel by train, too – Villa Jasso is just 25 minutes from Les Arcs-Draguignan station.
