Light and airy, with open-plan spaces and floor-to-ceiling windows, the interior and the great outdoors become one here. The minimalist lounge area with generously sized sofas opens out onto shady terraces, with al fresco eating and lounging areas. Our favourite time of day to sit out here is just as the sun goes down. Light the hurricane lamps and bring a bottle of wine out onto the terrace as the heat of the day slips away and the stars begin to come out.

Just beyond is the heated pool, as blue as the St Tropez skies above it, and surrounded by loungers where you can bask like a lizard in the afternoon sun with a good book and take occasional dips to cool down.

Although you are only moments away from the glitz, glamour and razzmatazz of St Tropez, there is plenty to keep you busy on days when you remain in the villa, from a gym and Jacuzzi to a home cinema and library.

With well-equipped kitchen and en-suite bedrooms kitted out with air-con, TVs and lots of little extras to make life easier, you can leave your cares at the airport and truly relax at Villa Les Salins.

This luxury villa in St Tropez is just 2 minute drive to Les Salins beach and a 5 minute drive to the centre of town. The nearest airport is Nice, which is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes away.

However, there are a plethora of wonderful restaurants just a short stroll way in the centre of St Tropez, from the Résidene de la Pinède with its three Michelin stars, to the traditional Provencal Auberge des Maures, the oldest restaurant in St Tropez, which counts Charlie Chaplin and David Niven among its past regulars.

Kids

Plenty of outdoor space makes this a villa that children will really enjoy. A lush, Mediterranean garden is the perfect location for games of hide and seek and there’s also a heated swimming pool for them to splash in. If you happen to get an inclement day, the cinema room on the lower ground floor of the villa will keep them happily entertained for an afternoon.
