It would be the envy of passers-by, but its great location at the end of the beach means you’ll seldom see people meandering by: a perfect private paradise.

Inside, the pale, candy-coloured hues continue, creating a calm beach house perfect for a Caribbean sojourn. Plush corner seats in the living area make the most of the views from the floor to ceiling windows and dual-aspect windows. The theme continues throughout the main house with four bedrooms, the independent suite in the garden and two external guesthouses hosting an additional three bedrooms. An additional annex is perfect for a nanny or staff, but with a butler, chef and housekeeper at hand, your every need is catered for.

Only a few metres of powdery sand separates you from the lapping waves of the Caribbean, so in a few seconds you can be grabbing the kayaks and paddle boards and racing into the big blue. For those who would prefer to admire the beauty of the bay’s waters from a distance, the grotto on the beach complete with al fresco dining set up is perfect for sunsets and evening dinners.

Under the swaying palm trees, the outdoor lounge competes with the rocking chairs on the wrap around terrace as the perfect afternoon reading spot in the shade, and with the terrace leading straight to the pool, you never have to walk far for a refreshing dip in the swimming pool or outdoor Jacuzzi.

If there is such a thing as feeling too zen, Villa Serene has a flood-lit tennis court and well-equipped gym to get your adrenaline pumping. Movie nights are on the menu too: just ask your butler to set up a screening of your favourite movie in the TV room.

Location

Villa Serene is a luxury Villa in Anguilla, situated on Long Bay, right on the beachfront.

The main gateways to Anguilla by air are St Martin (7 minute flight) or Puerto Rico (1 hour flight). Private charters are available from St Kitt’s, Antigua and various islands in the Caribbean. There’s also a ferry service every 30 minutes from St Martin, which takes just 20 minutes.

Once you’ve touched down in Anguilla, your luxury Caribbean villa is just a 15 minute drive from Clayton J Lloyd International airport.

This luxury villa in Anguilla sleeps 16 people across 8 bedrooms: 4 bedrooms in the main house and 4 bedrooms across 3 separate guesthouses, with the chance to accommodate four additional children in the twin/bunk room in the main house.

Rates shown are based on an occupancy of 10 people and additional guests are charged at $200 per night per guest over the age of 6, with the exception of some festive season dates when the extra person charge is waived.

This luxury villa with private chef offers you the chance to completely relax, in the knowledge that the team of staff will keep you well fed and watered throughout your stay.

Your chef and butler will cook up a storm, whatever the occasion, from a five-course feast to a relaxed beach barbecue. Sample menus are available to whet your appetite before your stay along with menu consultations should you have any specific requests.

Villa Serene is blessed with several delightful spots to dine, both inside and out, but the jewel in its crown must be the stunning grotto on the beach – the perfect backdrop for an intimate meal with good friends and family.

Kids

Children are made very welcome at this luxury villa. Kids of all ages will enjoy splashing in the swimming pool and older ones might like to have a few games on the floodlit tennis courts.
