The villa is designed in a Japanese style, with the occasional French twist, and Modern Retro furniture that feels both stylish and laid back. Light woods, a neutral palette and natural materials make this a space that is easy to relax in at all times.

The main living space is equally light and airy, with floor-to-ceiling windows looking out at the Adriatic, and a woodburner, which brings instant cosiness on chilly nights. Nearby is a sociable kitchen space and a modern dining area.

While the indoor spaces are impressive, it’s the outdoor rooms that really make this a magical property. A travertine terrace houses a huge outdoor living space with lounge and dining areas so you can live outdoors as much as possible, as well as a Jacuzzi and huge heated infinity swimming pool with panoramic sea views. For those who like to mix a little action with their relaxation there’s also a private gym and spa on the lower floor as well as a Finnish sauna.

The bedrooms are all designed with your supreme comfort in mind with neutral colours and cool cottons. Some have murals and other interesting design features – one even has its own private entrance and an office space. Each has a beautiful spa-style bathroom with walk-in shower and double stone basin and two have a huge bathtub to sink into. Staff will turn down your bed each evening so as soon as you’re ready to retire, you can fall straight into crisp sheets.

This seafront villa is just a short stroll to Maslinica Beach which is a small pebble beach. The ancient city of Pharos, now known as Stari Grad and UNESCO-protected, is a 15-minute walk away which is laden with history and culture to explore.

The closest airports are at Split, Dubrovnik and Brac. Hvar also has its own helipad just 2km from the villa for transfers. Private speedboat transfers are also available from all three airports and there are ferry and hovercraft services, too.

Villa Uvala offers wonderful spaces for enjoying the delicious local food available, with both indoor and outdoor dining spaces allowing you to make the most of the weather, as well as sleek barstools at the kitchen island, where you can perch with a glass of wine and chat to your chef for the evening.

As guests of the Maslina resort, you’ll also be able to enjoy the resort’s fabulous eatery, The Restaurant, which serves local, seasonal menus, often with ingredients picked from Maslina’s organic kitchen garden that very morning. It’s open all day, offering everything from comfort food for kids to an extensive tasting menu, all with a Mediterranean twist.

Included in your stay is a complimentary continental breakfast, served in your villa (on request) or in The Restaurant.. The villa also has an all-important coffee machine to help you start each day more easily. Complimentary afternoon tea is served each day, too – a moment to pause and enjoy tea, coffee and homemade sweet treats with a view of the sea. The villa comes fully stocked with drinks and a selection of local treats to get you started on your culinary Croatian adventure. A private chef or pre-arrival shop can also be arranged.

Villa Uvala is a luxury family-friendly villa in Croatia, which has been carefully designed to offer parents a relaxing break where everything is taken care of. Children are made most welcome at the Maslina resort. Kids’ menus are available in The Restaurant, and the resort can supply any baby equipment you may need, from baby gates and baths to potties and sterilisers. Even the little extras such as swimming equipment and cosmetics packs designed especially for children are included.

Maslina’s beautiful kids’ club, The Playroom, is available for play sessions for a variety of ages. It includes a carefully designed playspace, supervised by qualified staff, including a water area and a climbing wall, as well as stacks of toys, and activities such as music, dance, arts and crafts on offer.

Children of all ages will love the huge swimming pool at the villa, with restroom and shower close by too, make getting changed really simple. The resort also has two additional shared swimming pools, one of which is a family swimming pool with a stunning sun deck. And of course, the close proximity to the sea and Maslinica Beach, which is a small pebble beach, is a lovely bonus.  

Please note there are two twin rooms, as well as three king rooms, but two extra beds for children up to 12 years can be arranged for a small fee. Nannies and babysitters can be booked on request.
