Inside, a marble bathroom has its own hammam-style steam shower, or for top-to-toe pampering, you can pop over to the hotel, in the same grounds, to use the luxury spa there. The hotel also provides 24-hour room service so you can enjoy haute cuisine on your own private terrace, but if going out for the evening appeals, the hotel’s two wonderful restaurants are just a short hop away via the complimentary 24-hour shuttle service.

Location

The villa is perched up on a hill overlooking the town of Vence, just between Nice and Cannes on the Côte d’Azur.

The nearest airport is Nice which is a 30 minute drive away.

Eating

Villa Riou stands in the expansive grounds of a luxury hotel, which has two restaurants – the gourmet Le Saint Martin restaurant, serving haute cuisine in fabulous surroundings and the less formal L’Oliveraie, where you can eat fresh salads, fish and grills under the shade of the olive trees. The sophisticated Le Rossini bar serves drinks both inside and on the terrace, including rare champagnes and cognacs.

If you prefer to eat in the privacy of your villa, there is 24-hour room service.
