Description

Villa Atokos is the stuff of dreams. With an astounding 180-degree sea view and a fabulous spa, this property offers a magical experience; the sort of memory you’ll conjure years later when you close your eyes and try to recapture a moment of absolute tranquillity.

Approached from the water, Villa Atokos has the look of a waterfall of white and terracotta dwellings cascading down into the Ionian Sea. It is perched right on the cliff face so that when you’re inside, your view is of sea and coastline as far as the eye can see.

That view is best enjoyed from one of the two infinity pools, where you can swim under azure skies that give you the feeling of floating right out to sea. The two-tiered pools are a fabulous spot to relax and enjoy the peace and the lapping of the waves, or to throw a fabulous alfresco party with the best backdrop you could hope for.

There is a real sense of indoor and outdoor merging here. The light, airy living space opens out onto the wraparound terraces with two alfresco lounges and an outdoor dining space, seamlessly merging inside and out.

Exploring further indoors, there’s plenty to keep everyone entertained. There’s an impressive spa, which includes a mosaic-tiled Hammam, a fitness suite, massage treatment area and outdoor Jacuzzi. Holistic wellbeing programmes can be arranged during your stay – we thoroughly recommend the sunrise yoga. For those who like their downtime a little more relaxed there’s also a cinema room.

In the evenings take a drink out onto the terraces to watch the stars come out before retreating to air-conditioned bedrooms to listen to the waves lapping as you drift off to sleep. If you don’t sleep like a baby here, we’d be very surprised.

Location

Villa Atokos is perched on the hillside, offering an unrivalled 180-degree view overlooking the coastline and Ionian sea. Guests also have private sea access from the villa.

The villa is located in the Nissaki area of Corfu, approximately 25km from Corfu Town, with an abundance of picturesque bays and scenic coastal walks. Close by, the traditional village of Nissaki offers all the necessary facilities: tavernas, super markets, bars, gift shops and tourist offices.

The nearest Nissaki beach is a short drive away, fantastic for exploring coves and snorkelling. Alternatively, Barbati beach is approximately 3km or a 10 minute drive, offering a wide variety of water sports.

Corfu airport is approximately a 40 minute drive with private transfers included on arrival and departure days.

Rooms

Villa Atokos sleeps 12 guests across six bedrooms.

Bedroom 1:
Master bedroom on first floor with en-suite bathroom and dressing room.

Bedroom 2:
Master bedroom on ground floor with en-suite bathroom and dressing room.

Bedrooms 3 & 4:
Double/twin bedrooms on ground floor each with en-suite shower rooms.

Bedrooms 5 & 6:
Double bedrooms in the guest house, each with en-suite bathrooms and dressing rooms.

Eating

Excellent food and fine wines are a central part of life at Villa Atokos. With a talented chef and experienced villa staff to look after you, you’ll know you will be well fed and watered throughout your stay at Villa Atokos.

A luxury breakfast is served each morning, and then afternoon tea is supplied in the afternoons.

Your private chef will conjure up tantalising 3-course lunch and dinners during your stay. Any dietary requirements, whims and wishes can all be taken into account when menus are being designed, to ensure every meal is one to remember for all the best reasons.

Whilst meals are included in the chalet price, any premium or specialty food items, additional courses and alcoholic drinks will be charged for separately.

This will be clearly communicated during the stay planning by our reservations team or on-site concierge.

Kids

Children are welcome at Villa Atokos and will find plenty to keep them entertained, from the two swimming pools to the cinema room.

Under supervision, older children will also enjoy swimming in the sea via the private path and there’s plenty of space to play in the open-plan indoor areas for younger children. Don’t forget to take them out on the yachting adventure too.
