Built in 1833 and totally refurbished in 2015, this historic property has been refreshingly redesigned to be true to the building’s history but with a contemporary touch to make your holiday truly relaxing. As part of the famous Villa d’Este hotel, guests of the villa will have access to all that this wonderful hotel has to offer, too.
As you walk from room to room the views of the natural landscape outdoors appear like an honoured guest. Life in Como is so centred on the lake and this is a villa that really celebrates that fact, with its wonderful outdoor spaces. Whether you’re out soaking up the sun on the terrace or wandering through the leafy gardens, the lake is always there to delight and fascinate you.
Indoors, a very elegant living room provides a stunning space in which to relax and entertain, with comfortable sofas grouped perfectly for conversation and fireside gazing. Adjacent is an elegant dining room with frescoed walls and huge windows looking out onto lush greenery and lake views beyond.

From the end of June until the end of August, children aged three to eight can join the kids’ club, where they’ll be kept happily entertained while you enjoy a bit of peace and quiet and they’ll love splashing around in the hotel’s pool overlooking the lake.

Villa Garrovo is part of the Villa d’Este estate which has 25 acres of stunning grounds and a five-star hotel, right on the banks of Lake Como in the town of Cernobbio.
The villa is approximately an hour away from Milan Malpensa airport and just a few kilometres from the Swiss border.
