Perched on the edge of the sea in a charming fishing village, the steps from this luxury villa appear to tumble down into the waves. Villa More welcomes you from the moment you step out of the car. Inside the contemporary property, every last detail has been considered. White sofas and chairs in the cosy living space sit alongside rustic wood accessories for a laid-back coastal feel. Nearby is a dining room with statement lighting, close enough to the top-of-the-range kitchen and wine cellar to be extremely sociable. And the living spaces all have stunning views out over the sea and the mountains beyond on the mainland.

The bedrooms each have a king-size bed and spa-style en-suites. All the bedrooms, like the entire villa, have air-conditioning, as well as underfloor heating for chillier days.

With a gym and sauna on the ground floor, and top-of-the-range gadgetry such as Sonos sound system, Bose speakers and smart TV with satellite, there is plenty to keep everyone busy indoors, but the outside spaces are probably our favourite thing about Villa More.

A stunning swimming pool, with Jacuzzi area, is surrounded by loungers, where you can relax with a book and a drink and enjoy the view out over the sea. The pool area also has an outdoor shower for your convenience. Enjoy the terraces with al fresco living and dining spaces, as well as a summer kitchen, where you and your party will enjoy relaxed meals with spectacular views, as the sun goes down each evening.

Location

Villa More is a luxury villa on the island of Brac, off Croatia. The property is located in the charming fishing village of Selca, perched right on the waterfront, with direct access to the sea. There’s a supermarket, as well as cafes and bars all just over 1km away.

Brac Airport is less than 20km away and the port at Sumartin only 2km, from which you can reach the mainland and Split airport.

Eating

This luxury self-catering villa in Croatia has a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, wine cooler, coffee machine, ice maker, Qooker and microwave. The cupboards are stocked with basic cooking supplies for you to use, too. Outside is a summer kitchen with a gas stove, barbecue and firepit plus an outdoor dining space to seat eight.

Croatia is known for its wonderful food scene and foodies will enjoy exploring the fish and vegetable markets nearby as well as the local grocery shops, and perhaps taking part in local olive oil or wine tastings. The nearest restaurant is just 100m from the villa.

Chefs can be booked for breakfast, lunch or dinner, or all three, as you please.

Kids

This family-friendly villa in Croatia has lots to entertain children of all ages, not least its proximity to the beach. The swimming pool, with views out to the sea, will impress both toddlers wanting to splash and teenaged lounger lizards. Teens and tweens will also be pleased to hear the villa is kitted out with Sonos sound and Bose speakers as well as high-speed internet.

If they’re in search of adventure, the villa comes with three bikes, two kayaks and a stand-up paddleboard. There are also ping pong and billiard tables on site. Staff can help arrange days out, whether you want to go kitesurfing and zip-lining or wake-boarding and boating.

Nannies, babysitters, baby bed and high chair can be arranged on request.
