Description
Leobo Private Reserve is not like any other game lodge.

Available only on an exclusive use basis, the entire 12,000 acres of pristine African wilderness is totally private and yours to enjoy.

The main house is simply stunning. Think of a James Bond villain’s ultra-cool luxury villa in the African bush…

Designed by award winning architects Silvio Rech and Lesley Carstens, this private house is state of the art and even has a fully automated research-grade observatory tower to view the night sky in world class conditions.

There is a full team of staff to make your stay one of complete luxury and relaxation, including butlers and a talented private chef.

The house will take your breath away, but the real star of the show is the 12,000 acre private game reserve / playground on your doorstep.

The Leobo Private Reserve is fantastically well equipped for fun - there are quad bikes, dirt buggies, horses, mountain bikes, motor bikes, helicopters, clay shooting, fishing and more, all to use at your leisure, with no rules or time constraints.

See the abundance of wild game on horseback, quad or from the comfort of a Land Cruiser, all with the commentary of an expert.

The experienced bush guides can take you animal tracking and show you the wonders of nature on the reserve. Forget timetabled game-drives. Here it’s just you and the bush (with of course the team of experienced staff) so you can do what you like, when you like.

Reviews
“While there is no doubt that the accommodation at Leobo is extraordinary, it is the outdoor pursuits that will make your stay exhilarating.” Gaye Crossley

“After a weekend of gallivanting, gourmandizing and star-gazing, Leobo Private Reserve has achieved something really spectacular: it turned eight perfect strangers into friends” Andrea Nagel
Kids
Kids of all ages are welcome at Leobo and will be looked after famously. Being malaria-free and an easy overnight flight from London, it is an ideal holiday for a family.

It would be impossible for any kid no matter what age to run out of things to do at Leobo with our huge range of activities.

Chris and Quintus, the reserve managers, can take children of all ages out in to the bush to learn the signs of the wild, how to track animals and even for overnight camp outs. There is plenty of plains game to spot and some original bushman’s paintings on the rocks deep in to the reserve. For children, a stay at Leobo will be exciting, adventurous, and educational in a fun way.

There are also plenty of indoor toys and games at the house.

The wet and rainy season, is when the surroundings are lush and green and is when South Africa is in its summer. The optimum time for game viewing is during the dry season of South Africa between May and August.

November to December is when conditions are quite hot and humid. From January to April, although still hot, the conditions begin to wind down. May to June is when the National park is devoid of any green and it is in prime winter season. During June to August it is extremely cold and dry and it when games viewing is at its optimum. And from September to October is when Spring starts to arrive and temperatures begin to rise.
