What we love about Eze
Whilst the pièce de resistance of Eze is without a doubt the hilltop, at sea level the Eze-sur-Mer strand is a little, secluded beach where you can walk along the pebbles and dip your toes in the Med. We love how you can split your day between beach bliss and people watching in the characterful village.
Getting there
Eze is situated between the glitzy glamour of Monaco and the coastal town of Nice. Nice Côte d’Azur airport is only a 30-minute drive away. However, it is worth noting the very centre of Eze village is pedestrianized and best explored on foot.
Best Places to Eat and Drink
An al fresco terrace with jaw dropping sea views, Michelin recommended gourmet cuisine and retractable floor to ceiling windows to invite the French Riviera into the low lit, elegant interior are what make Chateau Eza Restaurant the most sought-after dining spot in Eze. Dine inside the 400-year-old chateau on the delicious degustation menu or sample the sea from the La Mer section of the varied menu.
For equally spectacular vistas to accompany lunch, Restaurant Les Remparts serves up traditional Mediterranean fare, dished up with the heady smells of the surrounding jasmine and budding bougainvillea. In the same setting, you will find Le Café du Jardin, a garden in the sky offering up light lunches or a cocktail at sunset.
