Although fairly quiet, there are a handful of good restaurants in Veysonnaz itself, so there are plenty of options for a weeks holiday, particularly when staying in a self-catered luxury ski chalet.
The 4 Valleys ski area is not short of a good mountain restaurant, many with views to die for.
For a Vin Chaud at the end of a good day’s skiing, try the Le Tipi wigwam before heading back to your luxury ski chalet, it is located just below the Piste de L’Ours near the Veysonnaz cable car upper station at 2000m, which often has live music.
If you are feeling hungry for lunch, nothing beats the hunter’s rösti at the Les Chottes mountain restaurant, complete with a spectacular panoramic view.
