Chalet Columba is self-catered, which gives you freedom to spend your time exactly as you wish, exploring the town’s après ski and restaurants, and then lounging at home with comfort food on nights when you just want to rest and relax.

The heart of the property is the open-plan living space, with comfy, contemporary sofas, flatscreen TV and a modern fireplace where you can gather with drinks in the evenings, in front of the roaring flames.

Nearby is a kitchen-diner where you’ll cook, chat and enjoy delicious local food and wine long into the evening with your party. Location

Chalet Columba in Grindelwald is just 250 meters to the lifts and under a 10 minute walk to the V-Bahn. From here you can access the cable car to the Eiger glacier and the Jungfrau mountain range, so there’s plenty of skiing for all abilities. The chalet is also close to the shopping centre and Grindelwald’s main station so if you fancy a day away from the snow there is plenty to explore.

The best airport for Grindelwald is Zurich (2 hours away) or Basel-Mulhouse or Geneva (each 2 hours 30 minutes away). Bern is just an hour away but has fewer flights.
