Les Clarines is perched up on a hill in Petit Chatel but is a stone’s throw from the nearest lift and just a 20-minute walk into the town, so everything is within easy reach.

The interiors are decorated in traditional Alpine style but with a contemporary twist, using wood and stone and a neutral palette for a laid-back look that makes it impossible not to feel relaxed here.

L-shaped sofas and leather armchairs, gathered around the wood burning fireplace, are a wonderfully comfortable place to sprawl and watch the snow fall outside. Nearby, is a sociable dining space, where you’ll enjoy long, leisurely meals and perhaps a few bottles of wine, too. A generous, modern kitchen, with central island, completes the open-plan living space.

For chilly afternoons post-ski, you might like to enjoy the outdoor hot tub and let the jets soothe slopes-weary muscles as you look out over the mountains. Or grab some popcorn and a pile of throws and snuggle up on the sofa in the TV and games room for a movie marathon.

Once each day’s adventures are over, retreat to relaxing bedrooms, stocked with cosy throws, fluffy towels and duvets that feel like clouds. Prepare for a good night’s sleep while the snow continues to fall outside, gently coating the slopes, ready for tomorrow’s adventures.

Location

This luxury ski chalet in Petit Chatel is just two minutes’ walk to the closest ski lift, the Barbossine Chair, from where the whole of the Portes du Soleil area is at your disposal. The Super Chatel area is just moments away and offers plenty of fun for everyone, but is particularly good for beginner-to-intermediate skiers. The town is a 20-minute stroll away and the bus stop for the free shuttle service stops close to your front door.

The nearest airport is Geneva, approximately 1.5 hours away.

As a luxury self-catered chalet, Les Clarines, Chatel, can be whatever you need it to be. The property is available on a self-catered basis and has a well-equipped kitchen that makes cooking for yourselves a pleasure.

A welcome pack with a few essentials awaits you on your arrival to get your holiday started.  There’s even a fridge-stocking service, as well as wine and champagne pre-orders, so you don’t have to worry about a thing when you arrive.

The chalet’s staff will be happy to help you with booking the best tables at the best restaurants nearby, and if you want to eat in your chalet but don’t want to cook, you can always use the evening meal delivery service and pop a totally prepared meal in the oven for whenever you want it.

Les Clarines, Chatel, is a luxury, family-friendly chalet where everything is geared towards making your holiday lots of fun for children and a stress-free break for parents, too.

If you’re travelling with very young ones, highchairs and cots are available on request. Staff will also be happy to pre-stock the chalet with nappies, wipes and anything else you may need, in order to make packing easier.  Your ski gear is delivered directly to your chalet, so there’s no waiting around at the hire shop to get your kids fitted out.

There’s a sweet bunk room that kids will love to make into their own den, and a further two of the double rooms can be configured as twins to give you extra flexibility as a group.

For snowy afternoons, post ski, Les Clarines is stocked with plenty of board games, puzzles and cards for all ages. The huge TV and games room on the lower ground floor has a DVD player, Apple TV and a PS4 games console, too, so there’s always something to keep everyone entertained.
