Set in the peaceful hamlet of Le Raffort, Chalet L’Orchidée is a newly renovated standalone chalet that showcases alpine living just moments from Méribel’s heart. Only a five-minute stroll from the Olympic gondola, the chalet’s secluded position grants easy access to the slopes yet delivers a rare sense of privacy. Your own alpine sanctuary with mountain and woodland views.
This elegant chalet spans multiple levels, uniting contemporary lines with classic alpine materials. Natural light streams through floor-to-ceiling windows in the open-plan living and dining space, where sleek design and wood cladding create an atmosphere both modern and inviting. The marble-topped kitchen island anchors the room, perfect for gathering over warm pastries at sunrise or sharing dinner as the snow settles outside.
Spanning the entire living floor, a generous balcony offers panoramic mountain vistas and the opportunity for al fresco dining or simply soaking up the morning sun. The outdoor hot tub stands ready after a day on the slopes: slip into the warm water, let the bubbles swirl around you and watch as dusk settles over the mountain peaks.
Bedrooms are thoughtfully arranged for privacy and comfort, with flexible setups that suit both families and groups of friends. Kids have their own dedicated bunk room, while adults can retreat to elegant double or twin bedrooms, each with en-suites. A separate TV snug area and a games room, complete with table football, ensure that younger guests are as well catered for as the adults.
Skiers will appreciate the boot room with warmers, and the possibility, when conditions allow, to ski right up to the garden level via an off-piste run from the blue Raffort piste. After-dark, the welcoming fireplace invites conversation and quiet reflection, a fitting close to days spent immersed in the magic of Méribel.
Chalet L’Orchidée is tucked away in the quiet hamlet of Le Raffort, one of Méribel’s peaceful enclaves, offering a sense of seclusion without compromising on access. The Olympic gondola is just a five-minute walk from the chalet, whisking you straight up to the main Chaudanne lift hub in Méribel.
For confident skiers, it’s even possible to ski back to the chalet when snow conditions allow, via an off-piste route from the blue Raffort slope that brings you right to the front door at garden level.
The closest international airport is Geneva Airport, approximately a 2-hour drive away.
