Chalet L’Ours Rouge is a modern apartment, thoughtfully created bringing the old and new together with consummate ease. Wood cladded walls and matching parquet floor gives the apartment warmth and a touch of luxury throughout.
The vast open plan living area complete with luxury L-shaped sofa and matching – and very cool – single seat loungers compliment the zinc plated fireplace. The dining area works beautifully amongst all the herringbone carpentry and with the marble kitchen worktops, allowing you to watch your talented chef at work while you relax with your friends, over fabulous food and fine wines.
If you take your relaxation seriously, take a glass of bubbly out to the hot tub where you can ease any aches and pains you’ve picked up on the slopes.
The bedrooms are also complete with exquisite timber work, lavish linen and faux fur throws. All accompanied with marble bathrooms and the finest towels and toiletries and your much needed pampering really does start here. The master bedroom offers stunning mountain views whilst a fourth bunk room will keep the kids warm and cosy together.

Food and drink are taken seriously at Chalet L’Ours Rouge; your private chef is on hand to ensure you are well fed and the chalet host will ensure your glasses are topped up.
On arrival, you’ll be given a warm welcome with a Champagne reception to kick start your luxury ski holiday on the right note.
Each morning, you’ll be set up with a delicious breakfast spread with hot options offered on five mornings and a heart continental spread on staff days off. Once you tire of the snow, you’ll find afternoon tea and homemade cakes waiting for you.
Pre-dinner drinks and canapés are served while your chef prepares a delicious four-course dinner on five evenings. Menus can be tailored to suit your wishes and your chef will be happy to take into account any dietary requirements.
You’ll have two evenings to sample the local restaurants of Meribel on staff days off and your chalet host will be more than happy to make recommendations and bookings.
Chalet L’Ours Rouge can also be offered on a self-catered basis if you prefer, allowing you to set your own schedule and to explore the wonderful restaurants of Meribel.

This chalet’s central location make this an ideal base for families with children, being a short walk into the village centre and the Golf chairlift. There is also a complimentary shuttle service to Meribel Centre in the morning for ski schools, so getting little ones to lessons will be a doddle.
A kids’ bunk room means they can have their own bolthole away from the grown-ups and cots can be provided for younger guests.
The chalet staff will do all they can to make life easier for families, from arranging ski passes and ski gear, to dedicated kids’ teas – the’ll help take the hassle out of any situation, allowing you to relax completely.
Nannies and babysitters can be arranged on request.
Chalet L’Ours Rouge is conveniently located right in the heart of Meribel Village, approximately 350 metres from the Golf chairlift and Lapin piste.
The main Meribel resort is approximately 5 minutes drive and a shared driver service is available to shuttle guests each day.
The nearest airports are Chambery (1h 15m) and Lyon (1h 55m) whilst Grenoble and Geneva are both approximately 2 hours drive away.
