With such a fabulous location, you are never more than seconds away from wherever you want to be – Val d’Isère’s boutique shops and chi-chi cafes, a top restaurant, or the slopes of Tignes Val d’Isère ski area.

It’s a good thing it’s all so convenient because, frankly, it’s a tough job to drag yourself away from the cosy atmosphere of your luxury ski chalet.

The ski gallery on the ground floor of the building sets the tone for the apartment itself, with a display put together by the Killy family of ski equipment across the ages. Step into your apartment and similar artworks are dotted throughout, giving the property a real feeling of character. The rustic wood interiors and roaring fire provide a thoroughly welcoming backdrop for lazy afternoons in with friends and family as well as a convivial atmosphere for a gathering. While the most talented chefs among you cook up a storm in the well-appointed kitchen (raclette, anyone?), the others can sit at the bar with a drink, or get the party underway with a little music and a dip in the outdoor hot tub – there’s no finer cure for slopes-weary muscles.

Each of the en-suite bedrooms is designed with your ultimate comfort in mind. The master bedroom, with its wonderful views, is a real treat.

And it’s that view that really is the jewel in the crown of this property. Any penthouse apartment is designed to give you that ‘on top of the world’ feeling but this one, where you can stand eye-to-eye with the side of that magnificent mountain as well as people-watch as skiers whizz down the slope and come and go from the bars in the town below, is really something. Take a drink out onto the terraces at night time, lie back in the hot tub and take in that wonderful outlook with the mountain air. Truly soul-soothing.

Apartment Artemis is a luxury ski chalet in Val d’Isere, located right in the centre of town. The shops, bars and restaurants  are on your doorstep, and you are just 300m from the nearest ski lift and 250m from the ski school. It really couldn’t be more convenient.

Apartment Artemis is offered on a self-catered basis, allowing you to sample the large range of excellent restaurants in Val d’Isère.
