You’ll have a chef, butler and housekeeper on hand throughout your stay, as well as an in-resort driver service to help with logistics. The residence also has its own gourmet restaurant and wellness facilities if you want to take advantage of them.
But once you’re tucked up in your cosy penthouse, you’ll feel like the only people in the building. Accessed by a private lift, Penthouse Atmosphère is set out over three floors, each beautifully designed with a mix of contemporary and traditional Alpine style.
The main living spaces on the second floor include two spacious sitting areas, a dining room, set behind an island fireplace with a family kitchen open-plan to the room. Vaulted ceilings and statement lighting give the whole space a cathedralesque feel, and the fabulous mountain views bring plenty of drama. Nearby is a cosy bar area, where you can catch up with friends over a few drinks without even leaving the apartment, and a dedicated kids’ playroom so any children can escape the grown-ups’ gaze for a while and amuse themselves with a selection of toys and games.
If you feel in need of a little pampering, the second floor also hosts a private wellness area where you can soak weary limbs in the Jacuzzi or relax in the sauna to recharge yourself for more snowy adventures the following day.

Location
This luxury penthouse is perched at the top of the exclusive Atmosphère residence in Courchevel 1850. It has direct access to the slopes and where you can ski-out to the Plantret chairlift. When skiing back, you encounter a slight uphill stretch of about 5 meters and with a bit of speed, you can easily reach the top.
The centre of Courchevel, with its plethora of shops, bars and restaurants, is just a few minutes’ walk. It is also close to the ski school and kids’ club.
The nearest airport is Chambery, 1h 30m away. Lyon is 2h away and Geneva is 2h 45m.

A private chef will look after you seven days a week at Atmosphère Penthouse. Each morning, you’ll wake to breakfast being served so you can be first out onto the slopes. When you return, afternoon tea will be waiting for you, and later in the evening dinner is served. You’ll also have a butler on hand so you won’t need to lift a finger at mealtimes.
The penthouse has an open-plan family kitchen which is well equipped and ready for you to use whenever you wish, and there is a separate professional kitchen for your chef.
If you prefer, you can use the on-site a la carte restaurant, which also offers a room service menu and simple breakfast baskets delivered to your door.
The apartment’s staff will also be pleased to make restaurant reservations if you choose to venture further afield to eat or want to take lunch on the mountain.

This family-friendly ski apartment is a great base for anyone with kids to explore Courchevel. Penthouse Atmosphère includes a family suite consisting of a double room and kids’ dormitory so little ones can be near mum and dad during the night. There’s also a kids’ playroom on the same floor as the living and entertaining spaces, so children can amuse themselves happily while the grown-ups catch up over a few drinks.
The Atmosphere 1850 residence has a shared games and play area for children, too, if they need to run off some energy after ski school. It includes a Lego wall, ball pit, cabin, cushion beds for lounging on and a climbing wall.
The concierge service can help with booking ski instructors, nannies and babysitters.
