The heart of the property is the living spaces, with double-height floor-to-ceiling windows that let the light flood in during the day. At night, the space is beautifully illuminated by statement lighting and a roaring fire in the contemporary fireplace. Generously proportioned sofas and a flatscreen TV invite guests to enjoy some serious lounging. Above is a mezzanine floor with a second seating area. There’s also a sociable bar area where you can enjoy your own private après ski with friends.
After an adventurous day on Courchevel’s slopes, Chalet Yin & Yang’s excellent private spa is at your disposal. Float in the swimming pool with its mirrored ceiling and cocooning relaxation area, or soothe muscles in the sauna, Hammam and indoor Jacuzzi. And as well as a fitness suite, there is a treatment room where you can enjoy a facial or massage while your chef prepares your evening meal and gets the Champagne on ice.
Before you retreat to the darkly sophisticated bedrooms, each with a spa-style en-suite, take a moment to wander out to the terraces with a nightcap, breathe in the mountain air and appreciate this most magical of locations.

A butler and chef are on hand to serve breakfast, afternoon tea and either lunch or dinner so you won’t need to lift a finger while you’re here. A sophisticated dining area provides a welcoming backdrop to communal meals – don’t forget to fit in a pre-prandial cocktail at the bar first. Please note that all food and drinks will be charged for separately.

Family-friendly
This family-friendly chalet in Courchevel 1850 offers a warm welcome for smaller guests. The location is ideal for kids, close to the slopes and there’s plenty to entertain them back in the chalet on snowy afternoons, too. They might like to splash in the swimming pool for a couple of hours, sprawl in front of the TV with some cartoons or hold a Playstation marathon.
Cots and highchairs can be booked on request for those travelling with babies, and nannies and babysitters can also be arranged.

Nestled in the Nogentil area of Courchevel 1850, Chalet Yin & Yang is a great base from which to explore one of the best ski resorts in Europe. Just 50 metres from the slopes and 350 metres from the Biollay ski lift, you’ll be out on the snow in no time. The centre of Courchevel is just 2km away, too.
The nearest airport is Chambery, 1 hour 30 minutes away. Grenoble and Lyon airports are 2 hours 15 minutes away and Geneva, 2 hours 20 minutes. Courchevel also has its own altiport for those arriving by helicopter or private jet.
