Conveniently, the village funicular is located just outside the chalet and runs most of the day to shuttle you to the main lift. When you’ve had your fill of snow and mountain air, you’ll find the perfect retreat at this luxury ski chalet. Open plan living across five levels are ideal for larger groups. Leave your ski gear in the boot room and head upstairs to the open plan living area and let the roaring fire warm you as you gaze at snow falling on the mountains. Shoot some pool on the chalet’s pool table or chill out in front of the TV or PS4 console.

If relaxation is key during your luxury ski holiday, you’ll find what you’re looking for in the chalet’s private outdoor hot tub. Chalet Babylon also enjoys shared access to a wonderful indoor swimming pool, Hammam and sauna which is located in the same building that houses this luxury ski chalet – perfect for soothing aching muscles.

Location

Chalet Babylon is located in the pretty and traditional village of Tignes les Brevières with access to the vast Tignes – Val d’Isère ski area.

You will find a village funicular located approximately 50 metres away, which will shuttle you to just across the road from the main lift station at the foot of the village.

Geneva Airport is approximately 2 hours 35 minutes drive.

Eating

You’ll be well looked after at this luxury ski chalet, with a chef and host on hand to ensure everyone is well fed.

You’ll wake up to a delicious continental breakfast each morning to set you up for a a big day ahead. Once home and ski boots are off, you’ll find afternoon tea ready and waiting.

On six evenings, your chef will prepare a gourmet 3-course evening meal, using local and seasonal wherever possible, accompanied by a selection of house wines. Any dietary requirements, whims and wishes can all be taken into account when menus are being designed, to ensure every meal is one to remember for all the best reasons.

Alternatively, Chalet Babylon can be taken on a B&B basis and you’ll find the modern kitchen is well equipped to make cooking a pleasure. At meal times, gather with your party in the double height dining area overlooking spectacular mountain views around the centerpiece dining table. If you prefer to eat out, you’ll find the wonderful restaurants of Tignes les Brévières nearby.

At this luxury ski chalet junior diners can enjoy child friendly suppers at an appropriate time. If you’ve brought your nanny, they’ll also be catered for. Alternatively, if you require childcare during your stay, that can be arranged on request.

When bedtime comes, children will love snuggling down under the covers in the cosy bunkroom on their luxury ski holiday.
