Chalet Belle Vache has south-facing balconies that make the most of the amazing mountain views and large windows that allow the light to flood in.

You’ll feel yourself relax as soon as you walk through the door. Inside, a neutral palette of colours brings a laid-back, cosy feel. Natural materials, such as the wood panelling, beamed ceilings and oak flooring add warmth, while cow hide rugs and soft leather sofas in the living area bring a bit of Alpine style. The open-plan living spaces make this a really sociable property to share with friends. Close by is a well-equipped kitchen area that any foodies among you will enjoy cooking in enormously. A small bar area provides somewhere to sit with a glass of wine and chat to whoever is playing chef for the evening. The cosy dining space has a rustic, refectory-style table with benches, just made for enjoying long, leisurely meals.

The property is well located for enjoying the best of the area’s skiing, but you’ll find plenty to keep you busy on snowy afternoons, when you’ve returned from the slopes. The TV room on the lower ground floor has a second television as well as an XBox console, where you can enjoy a movie matinee or games marathon. It works well as a kids’ den but also gives grown-ups somewhere to relax and lose themselves in a film for a couple of hours. After a few hours on the slopes around Chatel you might also be ready to enjoy a sauna or pop out to the hot tub on the terrace, drink in hand, and allow the bubbles to work their magic on any tired muscles.

By the time sleep beckons, in cosy rooms stocked with puffy duvets, the softest of pillows and Molton Brown bath products, you’ll be more than ready to fall into comfy beds and sweet dreams. A hearty breakfast and more adventures await in the morning.

Location

Belle Vache is a luxury ski chalet in Chatel, perched in a quiet location above the village in the Petit Chalet area.

The chalet is just 700 metres from the closest ski lift, the Barbossine Chair, putting you close to the quieter skiing areas of Torgon, La Chapelle and Super Chatel. From there, you can take lifts to Linger and to the amazing Portes du Soleil ski area. The bus stop for the free shuttle service stops just 50m from the front door of Belle Vache.

The closest airport is Geneva, 1.5 hours away.

This luxury family friendly ski chalet has everything you could need for a successful and stress-free family break.

Chalet Belle Vache, Chatel, comes supplied with lots of toys and games, so you can pack light and still know there will be plenty to keep them entertained. Kids will love the ‘den’ on the lower ground floor, which is kitted out with a TV, with Apple TV and lots of movies to watch, as well as an XBox for gaming marathons on snowy afternoons.

Three of the four bedrooms can be arranged as twin rooms to give you flexible accommodation for kids. For those travelling with very young children, highchairs and cots are available on request.
