Designed in traditional Alpine style, but with a contemporary twist, Chalet Binna is located in Winkelmatten district of Zermatt.
This luxury ski chalet has easy access to some of the best skiing in Zermatt, with the lift station just moments away and the ability to ski almost back to the door (within 100m) if snow conditions allow. The centre of the village is also walkable, allowing you to explore the shops, bars and restaurants at leisure and get to know some of ‘the real Zermatt’.
Inside, natural woods and plenty of daylight flooding through the huge windows make Binna a lovely place to relax in the daytime. At night, statement lighting and a roaring fire give the interior a cosy glow. At the heart of the living area is a cosy fireplace, where you’ll gather with your party for aperitifs and canapés before dinner and hear about everyone’s adventures on the mountain. Nearby is a refectory dining table sitting beneath a contemporary chandelier, ready for long, leisurely meals and lots of bottles of wine. There’s also a well-equipped kitchen should you decide to cater for yourselves. At one end of the living space is a TV corner, with huge sofas and plenty of cushions, providing somewhere to lounge in style on snowy afternoons.
After a morning out on the snow, the wellness area will be calling your name. Once you’ve left your ski gear drying in the ski room, and boots warming through, head down for a sauna or beauty treatment to help soothe any aches picked up on the slopes.
The outdoor areas are just as stylishly designed, with a beautiful hot tub on the terrace and Matterhorn views to enjoy from the bubbling water, as well as outdoor chairs from which you can take in the morning air or do a little stargazing.
Whatever adventures you get up to during a day at Chalet Binna, you can be assured of a good night’s sleep at the end of it. Each of the ensuite bedrooms is designed to be a little haven of its own, with comfy beds, TVs and everything you could need to help you relax and drop off to sleep, ready for more adventures tomorrow.
This luxury ski chalet in Zermatt has views of the Matterhorn and is just a five minute walk from the lifts. In good snow conditions, it’s possible to ski back to within 100 metres of the chalet.
Set in the sought-after Winkelmatten area of Zermatt, the village centre is only 15 minutes away on foot and there’s a bus that stops virtually outside Chalet Binna.
Zermatt is car-free so you’ll arrive at your chalet either by train or taxi and staff can help to arrange private transfers for you from Geneva airport, which is a three-hour drive away.

Good food and fine wines are (almost) as important as skiing here at Chalet Binna. Your private chef will check whether there are any dietary needs, and ensure every meal will be a memorable one. A dedicated kids’ menu is available for those travelling with children.
You’ll wake each day to a filling breakfast to give you the energy for a day’s skiing. When you trudge back through the door in the afternoons, you’ll find afternoon tea ready and waiting for you.
After pre-dinner drinks and canapés, a gourmet meal is served on four nights of the week (rising to six nights during school holiday peak season). Carefully selected house wines are served alongside your meal, and beers, spirits, mixers, soft drinks and hot drinks are all available throughout your stay.
On nights when you choose to eat out, the chalet’s staff will be pleased to help with making recommendations and bookings for you. Chalet Binna can also be booked on a self-catered or bed and breakfast basis if you prefer.

Chalet Binna offers luxury family-friendly ski accommodation in car-free Zermatt, where younger visitors are kept happy and parents can enjoy a stress-free break.
Open-plan living spaces offer lots of room to play and the TV area, adjacent, means parents can relax while having one eye on the kids. Each of the bedrooms has its own TV, too, so there’s always somewhere to escape to.
A bunk room for three, with plenty of teddies means children have a cosy den away from the adults where they can play. All three of the other bedrooms can be configured as twins or doubles, making the accommodation really flexible.
Your chef can prepare a dedicated children’s tea so parents can eat uninterrupted later in the evening. During school holidays, Binna offers evening catering for six evenings a week (rather than four) to make things easier for parents of small children.
For those travelling with babies, cots and highchairs are available and there is also a lift between floors, which makes getting about with a pushchair easier.
