Food is a serious pleasure at Chalet Cannelle – you can tell by the many cookbooks and foodie magazines scattered around. Much of the exquisite food on offer at this luxury chalet is locally sourced or organically home-grown in the chalet’s gardens and cooked by your wonderful hosts, Andy and Lorraine.
You’ll breakfast like a king each day, with home-made granola and freshly baked croissants followed by the freshest of free-range eggs, cooked your way. The owners keep chickens, and your children are welcome to join them in collecting eggs for breakfast each morning.
On your return from a day on the slopes, you’ll be met with a wonderful afternoon tea complete with home-baked cakes and pastries.
Each perfect evening at your luxury ski chalet begins with aperitifs and canapés – served by the fire or on the balcony. Then on to dinner, which could be anything from contemporary French cuisine to an Italian extravaganza or a Thai banquet – almost everything is made from scratch here, from pasta to pastries, stocks to sorbets.
And with plenty of house wines, spirits, beers and soft drinks on tap, everyone can enjoy their favourite tipple whenever they wish.
Your hosts are also more than happy to accommodate vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free requirements you may have – just say the word.
