The luxury chalet with spa facilities in the Dolomites looks out onto the ‘Passegiata’, giving you wonderful panoramic views and plenty of action to see before you even set foot on the slopes.

The chalet is spread over four floors connected by a lift, and offers generous living spaces where everyone can truly relax. One entire floor is given over to the lounge area, to make this a wonderful entertaining space. A roaring open fire and a wet bar completes the picture. Comfortable sofas and a cosy dining space create lots of room for everyone to kick back with a glass of wine from the chalet’s own cellar of an evening. And you won’t need to lift a finger while you’re here. The butler is always on hand to fetch whatever you need and your Michelin-star private chef to create gourmet feasts on your luxury ski holiday.

As befits a chalet in this exclusive and glamorous area, everything you could wish for has been laid on. Take a few lengths of the swimming pool, or spend a few hours in the gym, working up an appetite for your evening meal, then chill out in the spa. The spa area has a massage room as well as sauna and Jacuzzi. You’re guaranteed to leave utterly relaxed and revived. On afternoons after an energetic morning on the slopes, there’s nothing nicer than collapsing in front of a film together. The private cinema is kitted out with luxury chaise-longue-style sofas for your ultimate relaxation.

Before you float off to bed each evening, don’t forget to take your drink out onto the terraces to breathe in that mountain air and catch a glimpse of the stars. There’s nothing like it to guarantee a good night’s sleep.

Location

Chalet Dolce Vita looks out on the ‘Passegiata’ and is located in the Via Menardi area of Cortina in a small hamlet of just three exclusive chalets.

It’s a 2 minute walk to the nearest lift, 7 minutes by car to the Tofana ski area, and 10 minutes by car to the Lagazuoi area. The centre of town is a 4 minute walk away, though with a driver service on hand you won’t need to walk anywhere if you don’t wish to.

The closest airports are Venice, 2h away; Innsbruck, 2.5h away; and Verona, 3h away.

Eating

Plucked from the renowned Michelin-star restaurant in Cortina, The Tivoli, your private chef is on hand for the duration of your stay to ensure you are always well fed. A champagne reception is also held to welcome you to Chalet Dolce Vita.

Menus can be tailored to suit your tastes – whether for simple, hearty dishes or delectable 7-course banquets. It’s just like dining at the finest restaurant, within the privacy of your own home. Any dietary requirements, whims and wishes can all be taken into account when menus are being designed, to ensure every meal is one to remember for all the best reasons. If you would like a separate early dinner for the children, that’s no problem.

The chalet has its own wine cellar, stocked with fine wines (at additional cost) and a butler who will be on hand to keep drinks topped up and make sure you have everything you need.

Kids

There’s lots to keep little ones busy at this luxury chalet. They’re certain to love splashing in the swimming pool with its own waterfall, or enjoy the dedicated children’s indoor play area complete with play equipment, ball pit, mini trampoline and toys.

On afternoons when they’re ready to wind down, the cinema room is the perfect place for them to sprawl in front of a movie.

The property has a lovely kids’ bunk room with beautiful wood bunks they’ll love to cosy up in.
