Chalet Elena is a luxury ski apartment in Zermatt forming part of the larger and well known, Chalet Shalimar.
From the shared spa facilities to the huge windows, framing the Matterhorn, everything in this luxury ski chalet is planned to perfection.
Pared-back contemporary décor and furnishings, paired with traditionally Swiss wood panelling creates a perfect mix of old and new in the living areas. From mod cons like Wifi and TV/DVDs to necessities such as the open fire, it’s the little extras that make this apartment feel like home.
The four en-suite bedrooms each have both bath and separate shower and include luxury bath products and stacks of fluffy towels, bringing a feeling of hotel chic.
But this is just the start of the pampering treats in store in this luxury chalet, which includes a shared spa area with a sauna, Hammam and massage room where you can relax and ease your slope-weary limbs in style or take a dip in the stunning indoor swimming pool to bring you back to your senses before you return to your apartment.
With everything you could want within four walls, the owners have had to ensure they bring the slopes to you just to tempt you out of the building. So subject to good snow conditions, you’ll be pleased to hear that you can ski back to Chalet Elena.
Chalet Elena is located in the Winklematten area of Zermatt. In good snow conditions, it is possible to ski back to the chalet down the Moosweg ski-run and through the meadow.
Zermatt itself is only 15 minutes’ walk away or just a couple of minutes in an electric taxi, and the nearest Klein Matterhorn Express is approximately 10 minutes walk.
Geneva Airport is approximately 3 hours drive away.
