Eating
Foodies will be in seventh heaven at Chalet Gemini.
Start your day in the manner to which you will soon become accustomed with tea or coffee in bed. Following this, a delicious continental spread, or cooked breakfast, will see you off ready for a day’s skiing.
When you return from the slopes, afternoon tea will be ready for you to enjoy back in the chalet. Come evening, you’ll indulge in champagne and canapés and catch up with your party while your private chef rustles up a four- course gourmet dinner for you on six evenings of your stay at this luxury ski chalet.
There is an open bar, including spirits, beer and soft drinks, and a complimentary selection of wines chosen to accompany your meals are on tap, although a larger fine wine list is available on request. If you have a particular favourite drink, just let your concierge know to have it ready for you for an additional cost.
The chef has one day off a week when your chalet host will be delighted to book one of Zermatt’s excellent restaurants for you.
Chalet Gemini can also be taken on a self-catered or B&B basis for those who prefer cooking for themselves, or allowing you the flexibility to enjoy the many bars and restaurants of Zermatt.
