Chalet Golden Jubilee sits just above the town of Val Thorens, an easy walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants.

Chambery airport is 1hr 40 mins away while Lyon and Grenoble can be reached in 2hrs 20mins and Geneva is 2hrs 45mins away.

Eating

Chalet Golden Jubilee offers flexibility when it comes to dining, as this luxury ski chalet can be taken on a self-catered, B&B or catered service.

There’s the option of cooking delicious meals in the chalet’s fully equipped kitchen or venturing into Val Thorens to try out its great choice of restaurants and bars. If taken on a B&B basis, continental breakfasts will be delivered ahead of your days in the snow.

If you’d like to upgrade, Chalet Golden Jubilee can also be taken on a catered basis. On six evenings a week, you’ll enjoy a three-course dining experience at the Hotel Koh-I Nor’s restaurant next door. Please note that drinks are not included and will be charged for separately.

Kids

Children will love Val Thorens. It’s easy to get around and has a fantastic beginner’s area at the foot of the resort, with covered magic carpets to keep little learners a bit warmer. There are plenty of ski schools to choose from, as well as family zones, sledging and toboggan runs. Away from the slopes you’ll find a sports centre with trampolines, a pool, table tennis and soft play.

There’s also a cosy bedroom designed for children. For kid-free evenings, childcare can be arranged via the chalet’s concierge team.
