Welcoming, modern style in a wonderful setting, this luxury ski chalet in La Tania is a wonderful base from which to enjoy all a luxury ski holiday has to offer, from world-class skiing to top notch food and complete relaxation.

Chalet Herisson is located on the edge of the Moretta Blanche piste and surrounded by snow-kissed pine trees. With ski-in/ski-out access, setting off to explore the superb 3 Valleys ski area couldn’t be more convenient.

Inside, the double-height living room is decorated in neutral tones, complimented by soft natural textures. Collapse in the comfy sofas to enjoy the view over tea and cakes in the afternoons with the rest of your party and catch up on all the adventures everyone has had during the day.

Adjacent, there’s a sophisticated dining area where you’ll be happy to linger in long into the evening, chatting over excellent food and fine wines under the twinkling lights. Indeed, the whole living space is completely transformed in the evening from a light and airy space to a cosy retreat, sparkling with candlelight.

Perhaps one of the biggest selling point of Chalet Herisson is its sun terrace with a sunken outdoor hot tub, where you can soak away aching muscles after a long day on the slopes.

At the end of each exciting day, you’ll retire to the luxurious bedrooms with stacks of fluffy towels, bathrobes and bath products to help you relax before you drift off to sleep, dreaming of tomorrow’s adventures.

Please Note: For the 23/24 season, the bottom of Moretta Blanche red piste is closed for the season for works and upgrading to a new blue/ green piste with snow cannons which will be an attractive development for La Tania.

The chalet will be providing their usual excellent all day driver service to and from the ski lifts for all guests who normally use this section of the piste to ski to the bubble.

Location

Chalet Herisson is set in a ski-in/ski-out position, giving you access to the very best of the renowned 3 Valleys ski area and a gondola that can whisk you up to the mountains. Snow bunnies can get straight out on the snow each morning and ski all the way back to the chalet.

Grenoble and Chambery airports are both less than 2 hours’ drive away whilst Geneva is just over 2hrs drive. There is also an altiport at Courchevel 1850, suitable for private jets and helicopters.

Rooms

Chalet Herisson sleeps 8 + 2 guests in four bedrooms plus TV room.

Bedroom 1:
Double/twin bedroom on first floor with en-suite bathroom and balcony access.

A separate TV room can accommodate one further adult or two children on a sofa bed if required.

Eating

You’ll be well fed and watered at Chalet Herrison with a private chef in the kitchen and a host to keep your drinks topped up. On arrival, Champagne and canapés will be ready for you, to help begin your luxury holiday on the right note.

Mornings start in style, with a selection of buffet plus freshly cooked breakfast to set you up nicely for a day on the slopes. On staff days off, a buffet breakfast will be provided.

When you return from your skiing day, you’ll find a slap-up afternoon tea ready and waiting for you, with cakes and hot drinks to warm you through.

On five evenings, a gourmet dinner will be prepared by your chef, including canapés, cheese and petit fours. You’ll also enjoy complimentary drinks including a choice of 18 wines and bubbly selected by Verre Gourmand, plus an open bar with beer, soft drinks and Nespresso coffee.

You’ll have two evenings a week to sample the local restaurants and your chalet host will be more than happy to make recommendations and bookings.

Kids

Children are given a warm welcome at Chalet Herrison. When you do venture out of the chalet with the kids, you’re perfectly placed to do so with ski-in/ski-out access. Getting out in the mornings with children can be a challenge, as every parent knows, and being able to put your skis on at the back door is a huge help.

When they’re not on the slopes, children will love splashing around in the outdoor hot tub. There is also a separate TV room which is sure to be popular when all they want is to collapse in front of a film.
