Arranged across approximately 720 sqm and four levels, Chalet Himalaya strikes a balance between grand proportions and intimate comfort. An internal lift connects every level, ensuring effortless movement throughout the chalet and creating a seamless flow between its living spaces.
The chalet’s two inviting sitting rooms, each defined by soaring double-height ceilings and centred around a roaring fireplace, offer the perfect setting to unwind with a drink in hand. The second living room is distinguished by a grand piano, adding a refined touch to this elegant space. Soak up the spectacular mountain views, and spend time with family and friends after a day on the slopes. Positioned between the chalet’s two living areas, the dining room opens directly onto the terrace, creating a seamless setting for al fresco dining when weather permits.
A dedicated lower floor is devoted to relaxation and recovery. At its heart lies a 7 x 3m indoor swimming pool, and also features wellness facilities including a Hammam, massage treatment room and fitness space. The outdoor hot tub set into the terrace offers uninterrupted views of the surrounding slopes, best enjoyed with a glass from the chalet’s private wine cellar. A private cinema room completes the experience, providing the perfect setting to unwind after a day in the mountains.
After days filled with mountain adventures, the chalet’s bedrooms are designed with one purpose in mind: complete rest and rejuvenation. Exceptional food is at the heart of life at Chalet Himalaya, where fresh ingredients are transformed into imaginative, beautifully presented dishes by the chalet’s private chef.
Each morning begins with a generous breakfast, providing the perfect start to a day on the mountain. On your return, afternoon tea awaits, with freshly prepared treats and hot drinks ready to warm you after skiing.
Prior to your stay, you will enjoy a personalised menu consultation, allowing the chef to tailor a series of memorable dining experiences to your preferences. On five evenings during your stay, a carefully crafted four-course dinner is served, with all dietary requirements and allergies thoughtfully accommodated. Food and beverage costs are charged separately.
On the chef’s days off, your dedicated in-resort concierge will be delighted to recommend and reserve tables at some of Méribel’s finest restaurants, ensuring every evening is as enjoyable as the last.
For those who prefer complete independence, the self-catered option allows guests the freedom to dine entirely at their own pace, preparing and enjoying meals whenever it best suits their schedule.

Chalet Himalaya is a luxury, family-friendly ski chalet in Méribel, thoughtfully designed to ensure guests of all ages feel at home. After a day on the slopes or at ski school, younger guests will find plenty to keep them entertained, from splashing in the indoor swimming pool to settling into the cosy cinema room for an afternoon film.
Mealtimes are equally well catered for, with the option of a separate children’s supper prepared by the chalet’s private chef. This allows younger guests to enjoy a relaxed dinner at their own pace, while parents savour a more leisurely evening meal.
At bedtime, children will love retreating to the dedicated quad bunk room, where chunky wooden bunk beds create a fun and inviting space of their own.
For families seeking additional support during their stay, childcare services and ski lessons can be arranged on request, helping everyone make the most of their time in the mountains.
Location & Distances
Chalet Himalaya enjoys a privileged position on Route des Chalets in Méribel with access to the blue Doron piste for effortless ski-in/ski-out convenience. Guests can ski back to the chalet via the garden or a short 50-metre path leading directly to the front door.
Despite its peaceful slopeside setting, the heart of Méribel, with its selection of boutiques, bars, and restaurants, is only a five-minute chauffeured drive from the chalet, offering easy access to the resort’s vibrant après-ski and dining scene.
The nearest airport is Chambéry, 1hr 45mins away. Lyon, Grenoble and Geneva are all around 2hrs 30mins drive away.
