The chalet’s open-plan living and dining areas are designed to draw in natural light from floor-to-ceiling windows, framing the iconic Matterhorn and the sweeping southern panorama. Multiple wood-burning fireplaces create a warm focal point throughout, while a baby grand piano lends an elegant touch to evening gatherings. South-facing terraces and balconies provide a tranquil spot for lingering over morning coffees or Champagne at sunset, while taking in the mountain views.

Location & Distances
Chalet Kemaura is positioned conveniently on the edge of Zermatt’s village centre, with the nearest boutiques, cafés, and bars just 360 metres away, around a 6-minute walk along level lanes.
From the chalet, guests can reach the Matterhorn Express lift station in approximately 9 minutes on foot, covering a comfortable 500 metres and ensuring easy access to Zermatt’s renowned ski area and summer hiking trails.
Zermatt is a car-free resort which has a railway station, so guests often arrive by train. Geneva Airport is approximately 3 hours drive away.

Each morning begins with a generous daily breakfast, with a continental spread laid out on the staff’s day off so guests can help themselves at leisure. After days on the slopes or exploring the village, afternoon tea is served on six days a week, providing a comforting pause with sweet and savoury treats before the evening unfolds.
On six evenings, guests enjoy a refined four-course dinner accompanied by carefully selected house wines, tailored where possible to individual tastes and dietary requirements. Families are particularly well catered for, with a dedicated early children’s dinner available on these nights, ensuring younger guests can eat at a convenient time and enjoy dishes suited to them.
On the staff’s night off, the focus turns to Zermatt’s celebrated dining scene, giving guests the opportunity to discover the resort’s excellent restaurants, from cosy alpine inns to acclaimed gourmet addresses, all within easy reach of the chalet.
