Chalet La Rive is a luxury ski chalet in Morzine that’s a little different from the rest of the pack. Designed by a group of friends that met here and share a deep love for the area, Chalet La Rive has been a labour of love.

You’ll live up close to nature here, right by the river, and with trees peeping in at the windows – one of the most special spots in this chalet is the hot tub out on its own deck at the water’s edge. But you’re also tantalisingly close to many of Morzine’s most popular bars and restaurants for when you feel the pull of the bright lights.

Spacious living areas mean everyone has room both to socialise and to find a little peace. There are two living rooms – one with a huge squashy sofa and TV, just made for lounging in front of a film with friends. The second is a more sophisticated affair, with a suspended fireplace and room for long conversations, a big glass of wine and a pile of good books. There’s also an office ‘snug’ should you need to catch up on some work.

As well as the three main bedrooms there are also two mezzanine ‘pods’ designed to be super-cosy, space-saving retreats for one or two people to enjoy.
Every attention has been paid to the little details that make all the difference, too: Alexa speakers, GHD hair straighteners and bespoke tableware designed for this chalet by a local artist. All that’s left for you to do is sink deep into Chalet La Rive’s atmosphere of pared-back calm.
