This state-of-the-art self-catered chalet is split over 5 floors and has 6 bedrooms. Modern in décor, it’s a mix of contemporary neutral tones and grey wood. The main living area is dominated by the room’s low, up-lit eaves and chunky beams that make it feel cosy and intimate despite its wealth of space. Here you can sink into the wraparound sofa by the open fire with a mug of hot chocolate and a good book.

After dinner, why not cosy up on the sofa for a film with surround sound, or take a hot toddy onto the balcony overlooking Courchevel’s night lights.

With the slopes literally seconds from your front door, you don’t waste a moment skiing. Yet, there’s plenty to drag you back to the chalet each afternoon and guests can enjoy the private wellness area with an indoor Jacuzzi and swimming pool. We can’t think of many better ways to pass an afternoon.

Chalet l’Arctique is situated in the heart of Courchevel 1850, just 50 metres from the piste and 100m from the main lift station.

The nearest airports are Chambery 1hr 30mins, both Lyon and Grenoble and are 2hrs 10mins away and Geneva is 2hrs 30mins.

Eating

Your private chef and chalet host are on hand throughout your stay at Chalet l’Arctique to ensure you are always well fed and every glass is permanently charged.

Each morning you’ll wake to the aroma of a cooked breakfast being prepared. For those who prefer a lighter option there is also local yoghurt, muesli, cereals and freshly baked bread with jams. Whatever you choose you’ll be well set up for a morning’s skiing. On your return, afternoon tea is served, with tea and coffee and home-baked treats to warm you through.

You can expect four-course dining six nights a week, including pre-dinner Champagne and delicious canapés to kick start each evening meal. Every bottle of wine is carefully selected to compliment your courses perfectly. If you’re more into spirits, we’ve got you covered, with three bottles of complimentary house spirits to choose from.

You’ll have one evening a week to sample the local restaurants and your concierge service will be more than happy to make recommendations and bookings for you.

Chalet l’Arctique can also be taken on a self-catered basis if you prefer to explore different restaurants in Courchevel.

Children will love the bunk room in Chalet l’Arctique – ideal for giggling into their pillows together after lights out, whilst the adults relax upstairs.

They can also splash in the swimming pool or Jacuzzi once they’re done skiing for the day, so best not forget to pack swimwear!

The chalet’s central location is also ideal for family groups with children with the lift station and ski school meeting points a short hop and skip away.
