A mezzanine level and clever design ideas such as the TV snug off the living room make this a property where you can ‘be together in your own space’, and friends and family can happily gather for a week with plenty of room for everyone.

The chalet is well located just moments from both the centre of town and the slopes, so you’ll never waste a moment of your day getting to where you want to be, whether you are determined to be first on the powder in the morning or bag the best seat at the bar in the evening.

And when your skiing day is done, and you fancy a quiet evening in, Chalet Libellule is the perfect place for relaxing, entertaining and enjoying quality time with loved ones. Contemporary but rustic in style, the living spaces are highly conducive to some top-quality lounging, with capacious sofas gathered around the roaring fire, and a cosy TV snug nearby means you can catch up on the news or a film without shutting yourself away. The well-equipped kitchen is open-plan to the dining room. It’s a wonderful place both to cook and eat – we can’t think of a better way to spend an evening than gathered around the table for a raclette and several bottles of wine, while enjoying that stunning view.

For those who like their luxury skiing holidays with a dollop of pampering on the side, head to the sauna to soothe any slopes-weary muscles and feel the stresses of everyday life slip away.

At the end of an action-packed day at Chalet Libellule, we recommend taking a night cap out onto the terrace. Warmed by the sun all day, in the evening it takes on a mellow quietness as the sun sets, and you’ll go a long way to find a view to rival the dark shapes of the mountains after sundown.

Chalet Libellule is located approx. 350m away from resort centre and the nearest lift, Ariondaz.

The nearest airports are Chambery and Grenoble, both of which are approximately 2 hour’s drive, whilst Geneva is approximately 2hrs 30mins away.

Eating

Available on a self-catered basis, this luxury chalet offers the best of both worlds – an ideal location combined with the flexibility to follow your own schedule.

Guests will receive a welcome basket on arrival, including a bottle of Champagne to get your holiday started on the right note.

A breakfast service is offered for those wanting a relaxing start to the day and cost of food and drinks will be charged for separately.

A private chef can be hired to ensure everyone in your party is well fed. The kitchen is open plan to the rustic dining area, so you can watch your chef at work. If self-catering, whoever is being chef that night can still socialise with everyone else. The kitchen is beautifully equipped and comes with everything you could wish for including Nespresso coffee machine, raclette and fondue machines.

Kids

Chalet Libellule is a great choice for families. The open-plan spaces are well designed for those travelling with children. The large living area has a small TV corner just off it, allowing kids to have a bit of space to themselves in a spot where you can still keep an eye on them.

Two of the bedrooms can be arranged as twin rooms, making this chalet ideal for one or more families to share.

Nannies and babysitters are available on request to allow the grown-ups to enjoy an evening out or simply to keep children who don’t wish to ski entertained.
