The luxury ski chalet with hot tub offers plenty of spaces to recharge your batteries. As well as the fabulous hot tub, masseurs and beauty therapists are also available to visit you in the comfort of your chalet, and spa-style bathrooms adjoining each luxury bedroom give everyone a wonderfully comfortable space to call their own, too – perfect as a retreat for the afternoon following a busy morning on the slopes.

In the evening, regroup with friends and family to enjoy a meal either in the chalet itself or moments away in Courchevel Village, then retire to your private bar and adjoining cinema area to enjoy a chat, a film and the opportunity to melt into uber-comfortable seats with a glass of something chilled and bubbly in your hand.

Location

Chalet Makalu is located just 100 metres from the centre of Courchevel 1550 and 200 metres from the ski lifts, slopes and ski school.

Skis can be kept at the ski shop at the bottom of the slopes, a 5 minutes walk from this luxury ski chalet and it is possible to organise in-chalet ski and boot fitting for an additional cost.

The nearest airports are Chambery and Grenoble, both of which are approximately 2 hour’s drive, whilst Geneva is just over 2h 30m away.

Rooms

Chalet Makalu sleeps up to 8 adults + 2 children people in five bedrooms.

Bedrooms one and two
Double bedrooms on the first floor; en-suite bathrooms with showers and separate WCs (one also has a bathtub).

Bedrooms three and four
Double bedrooms on the second floor; en-suite shower rooms and separate WCs.

Bedroom five
Bunk room to sleep two children on the second floor; en-suite shower room and separate WC.

Eating

An impressive continental breakfast is served in the chalet each morning, including regional specialities and using fresh, local produce.

If you wish to eat in your chalet more often you can also hire a private chef by the day or week. Whether you want five-course gourmet dinners or simple raclettes and other typical ski fodder to eat in a less formal setting, your chef will be able to arrange it for you.

Alternatively the centre of Courchevel 1550 with its restaurants and bars is just a stone’s throw away.
