Chalet Panmah packs a lot of good stuff into its 500sqm of space. The four levels are linked by an elevator and everything is ultra modern and tastefully designed. When you arrive, greeted by your butler and a welcome glass of Champagne, the first thing you see is the open plan living area. Take in the magnificent views over the Vanoise valley as you relax in one of several lounge areas.

Whatever you need, just speak to your team of staff. Your private chef can tailor meals to suit your tastes, and your butler can arrange anything from ski boot fittings to restaurant bookings. The level of service goes way beyond most luxury ski chalets though. Not only do you have your own dedicated team, but you also have the staff of the five star Le K2 hotel to look after you. Chalet Panmah is managed by the Le K2 Palace hotel, and you have access to everything from shuttle services to childcare.

After an invigorating day on the slopes, ski straight to the door of the ski room and save your weary legs by taking the lift up to the teatime treats laid out in the dining area. Later, you might splash around in the private swimming pool with its waterfall feature and jet stream whilst the chef prepares a sumptuous dinner. After that, you might watch a movie on the home cinema system.

Perfect for families or groups of friends, Chalet Panmah has a private bar and a choice of lounge areas – including one beside the swimming pool – so there’s always somewhere to hide away with a good book. Location

Chalet Panmah lies beside the Cospillot piste in a fantastic ski-in/ski-out location. Guests can zip up the Cospillot drag lift in the mornings and bypass the much busier area of the centre of Courchevel 1850.

Guests also have access to the hotel shuttle service, simply call the concierge desk and a vehicle will be with you in moments.

The closest airports are Chambery (1hr 45mins) and Grenoble (1hr 50mins) and Geneva is a 2hr 30mins drive away.

Eating

Chalet Panmah offers the gourmet food and drink you would expect from a five star, fully catered luxury chalet. Every morning your private chef whips up wonderful breakfasts every morning to prepare you for another exhilarating day in the mountains.

Afternoon tea is ready and waiting for your return from the slopes and which should keep you going until dinner, where only the finest ingredients are used to create mouth-watering dishes just for you.

Dinner is usually proposed as a three course meal, however should you wish to have a grand feast of many courses, this can be arranged on request at additional cost.

Should you have any special requirements, your chef will discuss these with you to ensure that everything is exactly the way you desire. Don’t forget that as well as a personal chef, you have the excellent restaurants of the K2 Hotel and the whole of Courchevel 1850 on hand.

Kids

There’s no danger of the kids being bored at Chalet Panmah. The private swimming pool is perfect for little ones to play around in the waterfall and jet stream features, and for parents to supervise from the comfy sofas beside the water. Every bedroom has a TV, and the chalet is well equipped with gadgets so there should be no arguments about what to watch or listen to.

Courchevel 1850 has lots of exciting activities on offer, such as tobogganing and ice skating as well as skiing, and your chalet staff will be happy to arrange all sorts of outings and lessons, along with transport and equipment. Just let them know if you need cots, high chairs or baby equipment set up for your arrival.

Children can create their own hang-out to play or watch a DVD in the TV snug, yet still be under your supervision as you chill out by the bar. And if you feel like going out on the town, babysitters can easily be arranged. As an added bonus, you can take the kids over to the K2 hotel where there are two imaginative playrooms, one for older, and one for younger children.
